Write for Us - Social Media Blog | Guest Post on Lilach Bullock

Social media is one of the fastest-moving areas of digital marketing — and one of the most misunderstood. If you have genuine expertise in social media strategy and want to share it with an audience of business owners and marketers, this is your platform.

I'm Lilach Bullock, and social media has been central to my business for over two decades. Our readers are entrepreneurs, marketers, and business owners who want practical social media strategies that actually drive results — not just vanity metrics.

What We're Looking For

We publish social media content that helps business owners and marketers get real results. Topics include:

  • LinkedIn strategy — content, algorithm, outreach, and lead generation
  • Instagram for business — organic growth, Reels, Stories, and DMs
  • Facebook and YouTube strategies for business owners
  • Short-form video content — TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
  • Social media content planning, batching, and repurposing
  • Building a personal brand through social media
  • Social selling and using social platforms for lead generation
  • Analytics, tools, and measuring what actually matters

Our audience wants content they can act on immediately. Platform-specific guides, before and after examples, and step-by-step strategies perform far better than high-level overviews.

If you have expertise in email marketing, we'd love to hear from you on that subject as well.

What We Don't Accept

  • Generic social media tips that have been written a thousand times
  • Content published elsewhere
  • Promotional content disguised as a strategy guide
  • Anything focused purely on vanity metrics with no business outcome

What You Get

  • Your content in front of a global audience of business owners and marketers
  • A quality backlink from an established domain
  • Author bio with a link back to your website
  • Social media promotion across our channels

How to Submit

All submissions go through our main guest post page. Please read the full guidelines before submitting:

We welcome contributors with real hands-on social media experience — people who have grown accounts, run campaigns, and can show their work.

Want an ongoing collaboration? You can also partner with us.

What works on this blog and what does not

Our readers are business owners posting for their own companies, not agency social teams. They have no designer, no video editor, and about twenty minutes. Advice built for a brand with a content studio does not survive contact with their week.

Pitches that get accepted

  • What you posted, what happened, and the numbers
  • A platform change and what it means for a small account
  • How to get reach without paying for it, honestly
  • What to do when reach collapses and you do not know why
  • A repeatable posting process for one person

What we do not publish

Case studies from brands with budgets. Vanity-metric advice. Anything that treats followers as the goal. Our readers want customers, not an audience.

Frequently asked questions

What social media topics do you accept guest posts on?

Topics that work well on this site include: platform-specific tactics (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads), AI tools for social content, social commerce, creator economy operations, paid social fundamentals. The bar for acceptance is original first-hand experience and a specific angle.

What social media topics don't you accept?

Topics that get binned include: buy-followers content, growth hacks that violate platform terms, anything that exists to sell a SaaS tool, anything about platforms that have stopped mattering (we don't need another Pinterest piece). If the pitch is a thinly veiled product placement or rehashes content that's been done a hundred times elsewhere, it won't land.

Do you charge for guest posts?

For editorial guest posts (unpaid contributions from practitioners with genuine expertise) the answer is no. For sponsored articles, link placements, and brand partnerships, yes. The two are different processes. Editorial route: write-for-me page. Sponsored route: sponsored-articles page.

Work with me

Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

What word count do you publish?

Editorial posts: 1,500 to 3,500 words is the sweet spot. Shorter than 1,200 words rarely justifies the editorial time. Longer than 4,000 words is fine for pillar pieces. Sponsored articles: similar ranges, agreed up front during the placement conversation.

What is the typical turnaround time?

For editorial pitches: response within three to six weeks, sometimes faster. If you don't hear back within eight weeks, the answer is a polite no. Sponsored articles: agreement to publication is typically one to three weeks.

Can I include backlinks in my guest post?

One contextual backlink to your own site or relevant resource is fine in editorial posts. More than that starts to feel link-driven rather than reader-driven. Sponsored articles include the agreed link package, arranged during the placement conversation.

Do you accept AI-generated guest post drafts?

No. AI-generated drafts get rejected at the editorial review stage. I can spot AI writing within the first three paragraphs and I'm not interested in publishing it. AI is a fine first-draft research tool. The actual writing has to be human.

Where do I send my pitch?

Editorial pitches go through the form on the write-for-me page. Sponsored placement inquiries go through the form on the sponsored-articles page. Brand partnership inquiries go through partner-with-us. Sending the same pitch to all three routes is the fastest way to get added to the quiet block list.
