An AI strategy consultant works out where AI will actually pay back in your business, in what order, with what risks, and turns that into a plan your team can execute in 90 days. I am Lilach Bullock, an AI implementation consultant with 21 years in marketing. My strategies are short, ranked by payback, and I build the first workflows myself so the plan meets real work.
TL;DR
Most AI strategy work is a deck that nobody implements. Mine is a two-week audit, a ranked list of opportunities with a payback estimate for each, a governance note, and a 90-day plan. Then I build the first two or three workflows with your team so the strategy proves itself.
What a useful AI strategy contains
Where the hours go. A measured map of repeatable work across sales, marketing, admin, delivery and reporting, with time per week attached.
A ranked opportunity list. Every candidate AI workflow scored on hours saved, revenue impact, risk and how hard it is to build, so the order is obvious.
Guardrails. What data may and may not go into which tools, what must be reviewed by a person before it reaches a customer, and how you stay on the right side of GDPR and your own client contracts.
A 90-day plan and a 12-month roadmap. The first quarter is specific enough to start on Monday. The year is a direction, not a fantasy.
How the engagement runs
Two weeks of interviews and measurement with the people who do the work, one working session to agree priorities, then the written plan. If you want, I stay on to build the first workflows, which is what most clients choose, because a strategy that has shipped one automation is worth more than one that has not.
Who hires an AI strategy consultant
Owners and leadership teams who have tried a few AI tools, seen nothing stick, and want a senior person to decide what is worth doing. Also businesses under pressure from a board or investor to "have an AI plan" who would rather have a real one.
What it is not
Not a technology selection exercise, not a vendor pitch, and not a transformation programme. I do not resell tools or take referral fees, so the recommendations are not bent by anyone's commission.

Frequently asked questions
What does an AI strategy consultant do?
An AI strategy consultant works out where AI will pay back in your business, in what order, with what risks, and turns that into a plan your team can execute. A good one has built AI workflows, not only advised on them.
Do I need an AI strategy before implementing anything?
Usually a short one. Two weeks of measurement and prioritisation stops you building the wrong automation first. A 60-page deck is not a strategy.
What does an AI strategy engagement include?
An audit of where time and money go, a ranked list of AI opportunities with payback, a governance and data-handling note, a 90-day implementation plan and a 12-month roadmap.
Can you implement the strategy as well?
Yes. Most clients ask me to build the first two or three workflows in the plan, so the strategy is tested against real work rather than left in a document.
Is this for large companies only?
No. Owner-led businesses and small teams benefit most, because they cannot afford to spend a year on the wrong AI project.
