GEO (generative engine optimization) and AEO (answer engine optimization) are the names for getting your business named by AI engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews when someone asks them a question in your space. They are the new version of ranking on Google, for a world where people increasingly ask AI instead of searching. This free tool checks exactly that and shows you how to improve it.
How does the checker work?
It asks the real AI engines the questions your buyers ask, and checks whether your brand is named in their answers. If you add a website, it also grades how ready your site is to be cited. You get a citation result, a readiness score, the sources AI pulls from, and a plan.
Do I need a website?
