This page links all 170 of my lists of marketing and social media tools, from schedulers and analytics tools to ad spy, PR and review platforms. Pick the job you need done and open that one list.

How I build these lists

Every list I've built since mid-October 2026 follows the same method. I read each tool on its own website, note whether that site names a free plan, a trial only or neither, and put the tools in no particular order with no winner. The tools are named, never linked.

Across the 653 different tools I read for the 121 lists on this page where I recorded each tool's free plan, 271 name a free plan or a free version on their own site, 173 offer a trial only, and 209 say neither on the pages I read. That's fewer than half with a free plan, so the column is worth a look before you shortlist anything.

My advice: open the list closest to the job you need done, shortlist three tools whose site names a free plan or trial, and try each one on a single real task before you pay for anything.

Do you make one of the marketing and social media tools on these lists, or one that belongs on them? Tool makers can ask to be considered for a featured place.

Frequently asked questions

Which list covers scheduling posts on more than one platform?

The scheduling and management group at the top of this page. The single-platform schedulers (Pinterest, X and TikTok, for example) sit in the same group.

Do these lists cover paid ads as well as organic social?

Yes. The ads, content and PR group covers ad creative, ad spy and PPC tools, plus press release and review platforms.

How is the free plan column checked?

I read each tool's own pricing or plans page and record what it says: a named free plan, a trial only, or neither.

Are the marketing tools listed in order of quality?

No. Lists built since mid-October 2026 are in no particular order with no top pick, so you can judge each tool against your own channels.

How do I get my marketing tool considered?

Use the feature your tool page linked on this page. Every entry is read on its own website before it's added.
