How Much Does YouTube Pay for 100,000 Views in Pakistan?

The short version: 100,000 views on YouTube from a Pakistan-based audience typically earns somewhere between $20 and $150, depending on your niche, who's watching and where they're watching from.

The short version: 100,000 views on YouTube from a Pakistan-based audience typically earns somewhere between $20 and $150, depending on your niche, who's watching and where they're watching from. That's a wide gap, and it's wide for a reason I'll explain below. Most creators quoting a single flat number are either guessing or selling you a course.

Why there's no single answer to this

I get asked this constantly by people building channels from Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, and I understand the appeal of a clean number. But YouTube doesn't pay per view. It pays through AdSense based on CPM (cost per thousand ad impressions) and RPM (revenue per thousand views, after YouTube takes its 45 percent cut). Those numbers move depending on three things: your audience's country, your niche, and how advertisers feel about spending money that month.

Pakistan sits in what AdSense classifies as a lower-CPM region compared to the US, UK, Canada or Australia. That's not a judgement on your content, it's purely about advertiser demand and local ad rates. A Pakistani viewer watching a video generates less ad revenue than a viewer in London or New York, because the advertisers bidding for that ad space in Pakistan are paying less per impression. I've written about this split in more detail in how much YouTube pays in Pakistan per 1,000 views, and the same logic scales straight up to 100,000.

Realistic RPM ranges for Pakistan-based channels

  • General vlogging, comedy, entertainment: $0.20 to $0.60 RPM, meaning 100,000 views brings roughly $20 to $60
  • Tech, gadgets, mobile reviews: $0.50 to $1.20 RPM, so 100,000 views lands around $50 to $120
  • Finance, business, investing content: $0.80 to $1.80 RPM, pushing 100,000 views to $80 to $180
  • Kids content and gaming: often the lowest, $0.10 to $0.40 RPM, so $10 to $40 for 100,000 views

Those ranges aren't pulled from thin air, they reflect how advertiser categories price differently everywhere in the world, Pakistan included. Finance and business content pays more because the advertisers bidding on those ad slots (banks, software companies, investment platforms) have bigger budgets than, say, a mobile game studio targeting kids content.

A worked example

Say you run a tech review channel based in Karachi, uploading mobile phone unboxings and comparisons twice a week. Your audience is roughly 70 percent Pakistan-based, 20 percent from the Gulf (UAE, Saudi Arabia), and 10 percent scattered across the UK and US.

Here's how that might break down on a video that hits 100,000 views:

  • 70,000 views from Pakistan at an RPM of $0.80 = $56
  • 20,000 views from the Gulf at an RPM of $1.50 = $30
  • 10,000 views from the UK/US at an RPM of $4.00 = $40

Total: roughly $126 for that one video. Notice that the 10,000 non-Pakistan views contributed almost a third of the total revenue despite being a tenth of the views. That blended-audience effect is the single biggest lever most Pakistani creators ignore, and it's the uncomfortable bit nobody wants to say out loud: your views from Pakistan alone, even 100,000 of them, often won't pay your electricity bill, let alone replace a salary. The growth strategy that moves income isn't just "get more views," it's "get views from audiences advertisers pay more to reach."

Step by step: working out your own number

  1. Open YouTube Studio, go to Analytics, then Revenue
  2. Check your Revenue sources report over the last 28 days
  3. Look at Audience under the Geography tab to see your real country split
  4. Note your actual RPM (shown in the Revenue tab, not CPM, RPM is what you keep)
  5. Multiply your RPM by 100 to estimate what 100,000 views would bring you at your current audience mix

If you've got fewer than 1,000 subscribers or haven't hit the YouTube Partner Program thresholds (1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in 12 months, or 10 million Shorts views in 90 days), none of this applies yet because you're not monetised at all.

What moves the needle beyond ads

AdSense is the floor, not the ceiling. Brand deals, affiliate links and your own digital products usually pay more per view than ads ever will, especially once your channel has a defined niche advertisers want to be near. A tech channel with 100,000 views and a engaged Pakistani audience can often earn more from one sponsored mention than from three months of AdSense revenue on the same videos.

This is also where cross-platform thinking pays off. If you're building views on YouTube, it's worth checking how the same audience behaves elsewhere, I've covered YouTube Shorts pay for 50,000 views in Egypt and Snapchat Spotlight pay for 50K views in Nepal as comparable lower-CPM regions, and the patterns are strikingly similar. Short-form platforms generally pay less per view than long-form YouTube, but they're often faster to grow, which matters if you're building an audience from zero.

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

Instagram is worth comparing too. If you're weighing up where to put your effort, I've broken down what Instagram pays for 100K Reel views in Pakistan and what Instagram pays for 200,000 views, both useful if you're deciding whether to split content across platforms or go all in on one.

Don't skip Twitter and other smaller payout routes

Some Pakistani creators are also exploring whether platforms outside the usual trio pay anything worthwhile. I looked into this directly in whether Pakistani creators can get paid on Twitter, and the short answer is it's possible but limited and inconsistent compared to YouTube's ad system. Treat it as a bonus channel, not a plan.

If you're serious about turning views into a real income rather than pocket money, the honest work is in diversifying revenue and building an audience outside Pakistan where advertiser spend is higher, not just chasing bigger view counts on the same local audience. A smaller channel with 30,000 views mostly from the US or UK can out-earn a channel with 150,000 views that's entirely Pakistan-based. That's the maths advertisers created, not YouTube.

If building and monetising a content or marketing strategy feels like more than you want to handle alone, it's the kind of thing an AI consultant for small business can help map out, particularly around content planning, audience targeting and turning views into actual revenue systems rather than guesswork.

Frequently asked questions

How much does 100,000 YouTube views pay in Pakistan?

Typically between $20 and $150, depending on your niche and how much of your audience comes from Pakistan versus higher-paying regions like the UK, US or Gulf countries.

Why do Pakistani YouTubers earn less than US creators for the same views?

Advertisers pay less to show ads to viewers in Pakistan than to viewers in the US, UK or Canada, because ad rates are set regionally based on local advertiser demand and spending power, not by YouTube itself.

Does niche really change how much you earn per view?

Yes, significantly. Finance and business content often earns three to four times more per 1,000 views than kids content or general entertainment, because the advertisers bidding on those categories have different budgets.

Is AdSense the only way Pakistani YouTubers make money?

No, and it shouldn't be. Brand sponsorships, affiliate marketing and selling your own digital products or services usually pay more per view than AdSense once a channel has a defined, engaged audience.
