The short version: the easiest way to get booked as a podcast guest in 2026 is to start on a matching platform like PodMatch or MatchMaker.fm, then pitch a handful of shows directly using their own guest application form or contact page. Below are 54 podcasts and platforms that take guests, grouped by niche, with the route in for each one. I checked every page live on 29 September 2026.
I've been a guest on podcasts for years and I've learned the hard way that a show's guest form beats a clever cold email every time. Hosts build those forms because they want pitches. So this directory gives you the route in, not just the name. I've left the links off on purpose; type the domain into your browser and look for the guest or contact page.
If you're after other ways to get your name in front of an audience, my free list of 5,000 websites that accept guest posts and the directory of newsletters that accept sponsors work the same way.

How to pitch a podcast so the host says yes
1. Listen to two episodes first. Mention one of them in the first line. Hosts can spot a copy and paste pitch in a second.
2. Pitch one episode, not your whole life story. Give the host a title, three things listeners will walk away with, and one line on why you're the person to say it.
3. Match the angle to the show. The same person can be an AI guest on one show and a comeback story on another. Pick the angle that fits their audience.
4. Make the host's life easy. Send a short bio, a headshot link and your availability in the same email. Don't make them ask twice.
5. Squeeze the episode dry once it's live. I've written up how to turn one podcast appearance into a month of content, and if you run your own show, here's how I write podcast show notes.
Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?
I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

Frequently asked questions
Do podcasts pay their guests?
Almost never. Guests appear for the reach, the authority and the link in the show notes. A few big shows charge guests to appear. I haven't included pay-to-play shows in this directory.
How many podcasts should I pitch?
Start with five a week and follow up once after seven days. A few well-matched pitches beat a big blast.
Is a matching platform better than pitching direct?
Use both. Platforms bring hosts to you, while direct pitches land the shows you most want to be on.
Can I get on podcasts with no audience of my own?
Yes. Hosts want a guest who can teach their listeners something useful. A clear topic and a good story matter more than your follower count.
