8 Best Shopify Affiliate Apps and Ecommerce Affiliate Software in 2026
In this blog post, I compare eight of the best Shopify affiliate apps and ecommerce affiliate software platforms using current official pricing, tracking, payout and migration information. Rekomi is my top overall choice for brands that need ecommerce and subscription revenue in one system. UpPromote and GoAffPro are cheaper ways to start inside Shopify. Social Snowball is the premium choice for brands built around customer and creator acquisition.
The right tool depends on more than the monthly subscription. Percentage fees, payout work, coupon attribution, product-level commission and the cost of migrating affiliates can change the answer once the program starts producing sales.
If you are building the program before choosing the software, start with my guide to creating an affiliate program that pays for itself. SaaS and subscription teams should also compare the best affiliate marketing platforms for SaaS, while brands recruiting creators can use my guide to recurring affiliate programs to pressure-test the partner offer.
How I compared ecommerce affiliate software
Shopify fit: native app status, embedded workflow and support for products, discounts, refunds and subscriptions.
Attribution: links, coupon codes, email attribution and the ability to credit sales that never begin with a click.
Commission control: product-level rates, recurring commission, tiers and refund reversals.
Affiliate experience: signup, product links, reporting, assets and payout visibility.
True cost: subscription, success fees, payout fees, paid add-ons and staff time.
All prices below were checked against official product pages or official Shopify App Store listings. Pricing changes, so run your own forecast at the expected affiliate sales and payout volume before choosing a plan.
A tool only earns its place in my stack when it makes money, saves meaningful time or produces something I cannot get elsewhere. My breakdown of the marketing tools I still pay for explains the standard I use before another monthly subscription gets approved.
1. Rekomi: best overall for Shopify plus SaaS
Rekomi takes the top position because it covers the parts that growing programs usually split between several tools: first-party and coupon attribution, recurring and one-time commission, refund reversals, affiliate migration, fraud controls for click and lead campaigns, tax workflows and managed global payouts. It supports ecommerce and SaaS revenue in the same account, which matters when a brand sells products, memberships and subscriptions together.
Start with Rekomi’s ecommerce affiliate software if you want to see how the ecommerce and subscription workflows sit together before comparing the individual controls.

Standout features. Affiliates can receive personal coupon codes and deep-link to chosen products and pages. Brands can set product-level commission and use coupon attribution when a creator shares a code on TikTok, Instagram or a podcast without a trackable click. Rekomi also ships a dedicated importer for 21 platforms, including UpPromote, GoAffPro and Refersion, reducing the risk of breaking existing affiliate links during a move. Rekomi is a published Shopify App Store app that runs embedded inside the Shopify admin and bills through Shopify. It is also live in the Wix App Market and on BigCommerce.
For the mechanics behind personal links, coupon attribution and cross-device journeys, Rekomi’s affiliate tracking page explains the tracking layer in more detail.

Limitations. Starter is limited to one campaign, and managed affiliate payouts carry a 3% fee. Test order, discount, refund and commission events before inviting partners, whichever ecommerce platform you use.
I have worked with BigCommerce and covered the platform in detail on my site. Rekomi’s integration directory shows the live payment and ecommerce connections available now, including BigCommerce.
Pricing. Starter costs $29 a month, Growth $49 and Pro $99, with a 14-day full-feature trial. Self-serve plans add 3% of affiliate payouts; Enterprise lists 2.5%.
Compare Rekomi’s current plans against your expected payout volume, then use my affiliate commission structure cheat sheet to make sure the rate still works after product cost, refunds and fees.
Best for. Ecommerce brands that also sell subscriptions, courses, memberships or SaaS, and teams that want payouts and tax workflows inside the platform.
If subscription revenue is the bigger part of the business, compare the best affiliate marketing platforms for SaaS as well. If creator recruitment matters most, the recurring affiliate programs guide shows what the offer looks like from the partner side.
2. UpPromote: best low-cost all-round Shopify app
UpPromote is a mature Shopify-first option with link and coupon tracking, product-specific commission, customer referral campaigns, marketplace recruitment and store-credit rewards. Its permanent free plan makes it easy to validate an early program before paying a subscription.

Standout features. The app is Built for Shopify and supports headless Hydrogen stores. Higher tiers add automated PayPal payouts, anti-leak protection, multi-store management and affiliate chat.
Limitations. The free plan can review only $3,000 in referral sales each month. Growth, Professional and Enterprise add success fees of 2%, 1.5% and 1%. Creator Discovery starts at another $39 a month, so the advertised subscription is not the complete acquisition cost.
Pricing. Free plan; Growth $29.99 a month; Professional $89.99; Enterprise $199.99. Paid tiers advertise a 14-day trial.
3. Refersion: best for established Shopify Plus programs
Refersion combines first-party tracking, subscription commission, affiliate discovery, PayPal payouts and multi-store controls. It is a good fit when affiliate is already a material channel and the business needs a recognised platform with Shopify Plus support.

Standout features. Unlimited affiliates and conversions sit beside SKU and email-level tracking, personalised discovery and more than 30 integrations.
Limitations. The free offer is only a marketplace listing. It does not manage affiliates, tracking, commission or payouts. Launch costs $39 plus 3% of affiliate-driven sales, while Growth costs $199 plus 2%. API access, advanced commission structures and multi-store controls require Growth.
4. GoAffPro: best free plan for hands-on operators
GoAffPro’s Hobby plan allows unlimited affiliates, sales and revenue, making it unusually generous for a free Shopify app. It covers links, coupons, post-checkout recruitment and basic reporting without charging the brand simply for testing the channel.

Standout features. Premium adds custom commission, lifetime commission, MLM, branded portals, campaigns, bonuses and third-party integrations. Business adds automations, fraud management and custom compensation plans.
Limitations. The features that make a program easier to scale sit on paid tiers. Brands remain responsible for reviewing commission and authorising payouts, so the low software price can leave more operational work with the team.
Pricing. Hobby is free, Premium is $49 a month and Business starts at $99. Shopify lists a 15-day Premium trial.
5. Shopify Collabs: best native option for direct creator relationships
Shopify Collabs lives inside the Shopify ecosystem and covers creator invitations, application pages, personalised links and codes, gifting and commission tracking. It is the cleanest native choice for a merchant that wants to recruit known creators without adding another paid subscription.

If Shopify is the centre of the stack, Shopify Collabs is worth comparing with the way other ecommerce tools build around one ecosystem. My Klaviyo marketing strategy breakdown explains why that platform focus can become a competitive advantage.
Standout features. The product connects offers, gifts and automatic commission payments with Shopify billing. Flow automation is available where the merchant’s plan supports it.
Limitations. Collabs works only with Shopify and excludes Starter and Retail plans. New open creator signups are paused, so creators currently need a direct invitation or an application approved by a merchant. Automatic commission payments carry a 2.9% processing fee.
6. ReferralCandy: best for referral and affiliate campaigns together
ReferralCandy combines customer referrals and affiliate campaigns in one product. Every tier includes integrations and API access, while merchants can reward with coupons, cash or store credit.

Standout features. The app is Built for Shopify, supports subscription apps and allows unlimited campaigns. The same system can turn customer advocacy and creator promotion into separate programs.
Limitations. Variable fees are high at the bottom of the ladder. Basic charges $39 plus 10.5% success fees, and the fee applies to the first three orders from each referred new customer. There is no permanent free plan.
Pricing. Basic $39 plus 10.5%; Grow $79 plus 3.5%; Scale $249 plus 1.5%; Enterprise $799 plus 0.25%. All tiers advertise a 7-day trial.
7. Social Snowball: best for high-volume creator and customer acquisition
Social Snowball is designed for brands where creators, customers and influencers are central acquisition channels. It can turn customers into affiliates after purchase, manage gifting and payouts, and protect coupon attribution with Safelinks.

Standout features. More than 700 payout redemption methods, bulk payouts, tiers, recurring commission and strong post-purchase recruitment make it operationally broad.
Limitations. Entry pricing is $249 plus 3% of affiliate-generated revenue. Creator Search, social listening, UGC, unlimited programs and dedicated management sit on the $899 Blizzard plan. No free plan or public trial is advertised.
8. BixGrow: best budget app for simple Shopify programs
BixGrow gives small Shopify stores a clear starting point with link, coupon and email attribution, affiliate and customer-referral campaigns and a customisable portal. Its paid plans remain inexpensive compared with most products here.

Standout features. Scale removes program and affiliate limits. Pro adds anti-leak coupons, MLM, PayPal integration, commission tiers, custom domains and staff accounts.
Limitations. The free plan is capped at 30 affiliates and 50 referral orders a month. Several controls that protect or delegate a growing program require Pro.
Pricing. Starter is free, Scale is $14.99 a month and Pro is $24.99. Paid plans advertise a 14-day trial.

How to choose the best Shopify affiliate app
Run one real test journey in every shortlisted product. Create a partner, issue a link and coupon, buy a discounted product, refund part of the order and check the commission reversal. If you sell subscriptions, run a renewal. Then export or process a payout and ask whether the partner can understand every line without emailing you.
Forecast the percentage fees at success, not just at launch. A free or $29 tool charging 3% of referral sales can cost more than a larger fixed subscription once the channel grows. Separate fees on sales from fees on affiliate payouts, because they are charged against different numbers.
Before installing anything, use my affiliate program launch checklist and the full guide to creating an affiliate program that pays for itself. They stop a software decision from arriving before the commercial rules are ready.
Conclusion
Rekomi is the strongest overall choice when the business needs ecommerce and SaaS affiliate software in one operating system, with migration, payout and tax workflows included. It is a published Shopify App Store app, with live Wix and BigCommerce integrations as well.
You can review Rekomi’s ecommerce setup and current pricing before running the test-order, refund and payout journey described above.
UpPromote and GoAffPro are easier low-cost starting points for a Shopify-only merchant. Shopify Collabs works for direct creator relationships inside Shopify, but the pause on open creator signups limits discovery. Social Snowball makes sense when creator and customer acquisition already justify a premium platform.
