A free website traffic checker estimates how many visits a domain gets from Google each month by adding up the search volume of every keyword it ranks for, weighted by position. Type a domain below and you get its estimated organic visits and ranking keyword counts for the US, UK and India, with no sign-up. It is the fastest way to size up a competitor, a guest-post target or a site that wants to sell you advertising.

How to read the numbers
Organic visits is the number Google is likely to send that site in a month from the keywords it ranks for in that country. Ranking keywords is how many searches it appears in the top 100 for. A site with many keywords but few visits ranks low or on tiny searches; a site with few keywords and lots of visits owns a handful of big ones, which usually means it is easier to outrank on the long tail than on the head terms.
What I use it for
Three jobs, every week. Pricing a sponsored post: if a site asks for money to publish you, check whether it has the traffic to justify it. Choosing guest post targets: a site with real organic traffic passes real readers, not just a link. Sizing competitors: run five of them, note who is growing in your market, then look at what they rank for that you do not.
If you want the link picture as well as the traffic picture, run the same domain through my free backlink checker, and use the website mapping tool to see how its pages are organised. For the wider method, read my guide to free tools for checking competitor website traffic.
To compare link strength as well as traffic, use the free domain authority checker.

Frequently asked questions
How accurate is a free website traffic checker?
Treat it as a ranking-based estimate, usually within a factor of two of the real Google traffic for content sites. It multiplies each ranking keyword's search volume by an expected click rate for the position, so sites that earn most of their visits from email, social or direct visits will read low.
Does it show a competitor's total traffic?
No tool outside their own analytics can. This shows estimated organic search visits and ranking keyword counts for the US, UK and India, which is the part of a competitor's traffic you can compete for with content.
Why does a site show zero?
Either it is very new, very small, blocked from Google, or the domain was typed with a path or typo. Enter the bare domain, for example example.com, without https or a page path.
How many sites can I check?
As many as you like. The tool caches each result for 30 days and runs a capped number of fresh lookups a day, so a busy day can ask you to come back tomorrow.
Which market should I read first?
The one you sell into. A UK business should read the UK row; a global SaaS should compare the US row against its own. India is included because it is the largest English-language search market after the US.
