As of October 2026, Spotify Premium in Singapore costs S$11.98 a month for Individual, S$16.98 for Duo, S$20.98 for Family (up to 6 accounts) and S$6.48 for Student. New Premium users can try Individual or Student for 1 month at S$0.
Singapore has one detail that sets it apart from many markets: Spotify's Singapore page lists lossless audio as part of Premium Individual, not as an extra tier. Here's every plan, what it includes and which one is the best value for your situation, all from Spotify's own Singapore page.
Spotify Premium plans in Singapore
Prices from spotify.com for Singapore, as of October 2026. The page shows them with a plain dollar sign; they're Singapore dollars.
| Plan | Monthly price | Accounts | Intro for new users |
|---|---|---|---|
| Individual | S$11.98 | 1 Premium account | 1 month for S$0 |
| Duo | S$16.98 | 2 Premium accounts | None listed |
| Family | S$20.98 | Up to 6 Premium accounts | None listed |
| Student | S$6.48 | 1 verified Premium account | 1 month for S$0 |
Every plan can be cancelled at any time. Singapore's page doesn't list prepaid plans, so you're choosing between monthly subscriptions.
Lossless audio is part of Premium in Singapore
This is the bit worth knowing. In some countries, Spotify keeps its best sound for a higher Platinum tier. On the Singapore page, lossless music is listed under Premium Individual itself, with sound quality up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz. So in Singapore, you don't need to pay more than S$11.98 to get Spotify's highest audio quality.
Compare that with South Africa, where Spotify's own page puts lossless on the R 179,99 Platinum plan and lists Standard at up to about 320 kbps. In Singapore there's no such split on the page: Individual, Duo, Family and Student sit on the same Premium feature list.
The free month for new Premium users
When I read the page in October 2026, it offered Premium Individual at S$0 for 1 month, then S$11.98 a month, and the same S$0 month on Student before S$6.48 a month. Both are only for people who haven't tried Premium before. Duo and Family showed no intro price. Offers change, so check what the page shows when you sign up.
Duo vs Family vs two Individual plans
The maths in Singapore makes the shared plans easy to recommend:
- Two Individual plans would cost S$11.98 each. Duo gives two separate Premium accounts for S$16.98, so a couple at the same address saves by going Duo.
- Family costs S$20.98 for up to 6 Premium accounts at the same address, and the plan manager gets parental controls. Once there are three of you at home, Family is the one to pick.
Duo is for couples who live at the same address, and Family is for up to 6 family members at the same address, so these aren't plans for friends in different homes.
How Spotify Family works in Singapore
Spotify's Singapore support page sets out a few rules that matter before you sign up:
- The plan manager is the only person who signs up and pays, and they can't join other plans.
- Every member has a separate account and logs in with their own details.
- Plan members can only switch plans once every 12 months.
- If you already have Premium through a partner company, such as your phone or internet provider, you need to cancel with them first and wait for that Premium to end.
- Removing members doesn't downgrade the plan. To pay less, you switch to a new plan.
Cancelling Premium in Singapore
You can cancel at any time from Manage your plan on your account page. Your Premium stays until your next billing date, then the account switches to free, and you keep your playlists and saved music. One catch: if you cancel during a zero-priced free trial, the account switches to free straight away, and that free trial can't be reactivated. If you manage a Duo or Family plan, tell your members first, because they lose Premium from the next payment date.

Spotify Premium Student in Singapore
At S$6.48 a month, Student is the cheapest way into Premium in Singapore. Spotify reserves it for students enrolled in an eligible accredited institution of higher education, and it isn't available to anyone who's already tried Premium. You get one verified Premium account. My guide to Spotify Premium Student covers how verification works.

My verdict
Spotify Premium in Singapore is good value because the S$11.98 Individual plan already includes lossless audio. Take the free month if you're new, choose Duo as a couple and Family for three or more at home, and if you're a student, S$6.48 is hard to beat.
