As of October 2026, Meta Verified Standard costs $14.99 a month per profile when you subscribe in the Instagram or Facebook app, or $11.99 a month in most regions when you subscribe on the web. Above that, Meta lists Plus at $49.99 a month, Premium at $149.99 and Max at $499.99. Meta says local prices vary by market, so check the sign up screen for yours.
Meta Verified used to be one product at one price. It's now a four tier subscription for both creators and businesses, and the bigger plans add support and reach features rather than a better badge. The badge itself is the same on every plan.
Meta Verified prices for creators
These are the prices on Meta's creator page, as of October 2026. Meta says plans, benefits and availability may vary by region, app and account.
| Plan | Price per profile, as of October 2026 | Where you can sign up |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $14.99 a month in the app, or $11.99 a month on the web in most regions | Web or mobile app |
| Plus | $49.99 a month | Mobile app only |
| Premium | $149.99 a month | Mobile app only |
| Max | $499.99 a month | Mobile app only |
So the cheapest way in is Standard bought on the web. Meta's page says you can sign up for Standard on the web for a discounted price. If your Facebook and Instagram accounts are linked in the Accounts Center, Meta says you may also be eligible to verify both profiles for a discounted price.
What each plan includes
Every plan includes the verified badge, impersonation protection, search optimisation, a featured profile, images on your profile links, exclusive stickers, custom chat themes and personalised content strategy advice. The differences are in support and links in Reels:
| Feature | Standard | Plus | Premium | Max |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Verified badge and impersonation protection | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Chat or email agents 24/7 | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Faster issue resolution | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Request a call from an agent | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Active case monitoring | No | No | No | Yes |
| Links in Reels | No | Two a month | Four a month | Six a month |
Meta Verified prices for businesses
Meta's business page lists the same four price points, as of October 2026, each valid for one Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp phone number:
- Business Standard: $14.99 a month, with one verified WhatsApp channel and four linked devices.
- Business Plus: $49.99 a month, adding two links in Reels a month, three business addresses and three verified WhatsApp channels.
- Business Premium: $149.99 a month, adding call back support, four links in Reels a month and protection for two employees.
- Business Max: $499.99 a month, adding active case monitoring, six links in Reels a month and protection for five employees.
Meta's business page says you can cancel at any time, and that it reviews applications and sends a status update within three working days. It also offers a discount if you subscribe on both Facebook and Instagram. The one regional exception it names: Business Standard bought on desktop in New Zealand is $11.99 a month.
Who's eligible
Paying isn't enough on its own. For creators, Instagram's Help Centre lists these requirements:
- Be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
- Be located in a country where Meta Verified is available.
- Have a government issued photo ID. Meta says you may also be asked for a selfie video in selected regions.
- Use an eligible profile: an Instagram or Facebook personal or creator profile with Advanced Protection turned on, a name and photo that meet Meta's naming standards, and minimum activity.
- Not have made too many profile changes in a set period before applying.
Here's the catch most people miss: Meta says once your profile is verified, you may not be able to change your username or date of birth without going through the verification process again. Get your handle right before you subscribe. You can verify up to two profiles added to the same Meta Account, and they may need similar names and pictures.
What about Meta One?
Meta's Verified pages now carry a note that Meta Verified features are available in Meta One, a newer subscription that builds on it. Meta One's personal plans, such as Meta One Core at $7.99 a month and Premium at $19.99 a month as of October 2026, are about extra app features and more AI usage, things like custom app icons, story tools and AI video. They aren't the verification badge plans, so don't buy one expecting the blue tick.

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
Is Meta Verified worth it?
For most small businesses, Standard is the only plan worth thinking about. The badge, impersonation protection and 24/7 human support are the parts that solve real problems, especially if you've ever been locked out or had someone copy your account to scam your customers. Plus and above are priced for creators and brands with large audiences, where faster support and extra links in Reels can pay their way.
If you're not sure yet, check whether you could earn the badge without paying. I've covered the routes in how to get verified on Instagram and how to get verified on Facebook.
My verdict
Meta Verified starts at $11.99 a month on the web or $14.99 in the app as of October 2026, and that Standard plan covers what most business owners need. Subscribe on the web to pay less, set your username first because it may be locked afterwards, and only step up a tier if you need phone support or more links in Reels.
