Canva Pro Price: What Pro, Business and Enterprise Cost

As of October 2026, Canva Pro costs US$144 a year for one person, according to Canva's pricing page. Canva Business costs US$250 a year per person, Canva Free is US$0, and Enterprise is priced on request. Canva says prices exclude applicable tax, and you can start a free trial of Pro or Business.

Canva Pro is the design subscription I'd recommend to almost any small business owner who makes their own social posts, flyers or presentations. The free plan is good, but Pro is where brand kits, premium templates and the bigger AI allowance come in. Here's exactly what each tier costs and adds.

Canva plans and prices

PlanPrice (as of October 2026)Cloud storageBrand Kits
FreeUS$05GB1 (3 colours only)
ProUS$144 a year for one person100GB5
BusinessUS$250 a year per person500GB100, with approvals
EnterpriseContact Canva1TB1,000, with tiered approvals

These are the yearly prices Canva shows by default. Canva's page also has a monthly view and says you save by paying yearly, so if you only need Pro for a short project, compare the monthly figure on the same page before you buy.

What Canva Pro adds over Free

  • 3.6M+ templates, including premium templates, compared with 1.6M+ on Free.
  • 141M+ premium photos, videos, graphics and audio.
  • AI tools such as resize, translate and remove background.
  • 10x more AI than Canva Free, according to Canva.
  • 5 Brand Kits and social content scheduling.
  • 100GB of cloud storage instead of 5GB.

The one I'd pay for on its own is resize. Turning one design into every social format in a click is the feature that saves a small business the most time.

Pro or Business

Canva now pitches Business as the plan for individuals and teams who want to grow, and marks it as recommended. On top of Pro, Canva lists collaboration and team admin tools, 100 Brand Kits with approvals, access to Flourish, 500GB of storage and 20x more AI than Canva Free. Canva also lists a discount on print orders where Canva Print is offered.

If you work alone and don't need approvals, Pro is enough. If two or more people design for the same brand, Business is where Canva has put the team tools.

Who can get Canva Pro features free

Here's the part worth checking before you pay. Canva says nonprofits can get a free subscription with all the premium features of Canva Pro, plus team and collaboration tools, for one team of up to 50 users. Canva Education is available for K to 12 educators, their students and qualifying schools, and Canva Campus covers higher education.

How Canva's AI allowance works

Canva's AI usage is the newest wrinkle in its pricing. Canva says Standard, Premium and Ultra AI tools use a shared AI allowance at different rates, and that the allowance resets each month. Some Standard AI tools, like Translate and Magic Write, don't count towards the allowance on paid plans, except the Pro Lite plan, where Canva says Standard AI draws from your monthly allowance.

If you run out, Canva offers an AI Pass add-on for Pro and Business users who subscribe online, and one-time AI top-ups for Business users, both at extra cost.

How to buy Canva Pro

  1. Sign in to Canva and open the pricing page.
  2. Choose Monthly or Yearly at the top. Canva shows yearly by default.
  3. Select Pro, then start your free trial.
  4. Check the price at checkout. Canva says it calculates tax from your billing details, and in the US applies sales tax where required.
  5. Set up your first Brand Kit so your logo, fonts and colours are ready for every design.

Changing team size and billing

If you add people to a paid Canva plan, the bill follows. Canva says there's no immediate charge when you add members: billing is adjusted monthly, or quarterly if you're on an annual subscription. On a monthly cycle you can adjust your team size at any time. On an annual cycle, Canva says it emails the team admin about upcoming charges and gives a notice period to update the team size.

When Enterprise makes sense

Enterprise is priced on request and built for larger organisations. Canva lists SSO and SCIM provisioning, custom apps, 1,000 Brand Kits with tiered approvals and 1TB of storage. Some extras come with seat minimums: Canva lists 100 seats for its IP indemnity and AI output indemnity, and 150 seats for a dedicated customer success manager.

My verdict

At US$144 a year, Canva Pro pays for itself quickly if you make your own marketing content every week. Start with the free trial, check whether the resize tool and premium templates change how fast you work, and only move to Business when more than one person designs for your brand. Nonprofits, teachers and students should check the free routes first, and anyone on a team should price Business per person before adding seats to Pro.
