Health Write For Us: Guest Post Guidelines

Yes, health guest posts are accepted here, but written to help, not to rank. Readers are busy business owners who care about energy, focus, burnout and running a health-related business well. The accepted pieces come from real expertise. A listicle of ten wellness tips gets declined, and unsupported medical claims are not published. Pitch something you know first-hand, grounded and specific, not written for a search engine.

Health content online is mostly written to rank, not to help. If you work in health, run a health business, or have genuine expertise in wellbeing, our readers will notice the difference immediately.

I’m Lilach Bullock. This blog reaches business owners, marketers and agencies, most of whom work long hours and run small teams. They care about energy, focus, burnout and running a health-related business well. They are not looking for a listicle of ten wellness tips.

What We’re Looking For

Content that helps a business owner make a decision they will not regret:

  • Wellbeing and burnout for people who run businesses, written from experience
  • Marketing a health, wellness or clinical practice ethically
  • How health businesses actually get clients
  • Workplace health that a small team can genuinely implement
  • Mental health and business ownership, told honestly
  • The business side of health: pricing, retention, referrals
  • Evidence-led content where the evidence is actually cited

Cite your sources and write from real experience. Anything that reads as generic health filler will not run.

Also accepting guest posts on small business and digital marketing.

What We Don’t Accept

  • Vendor marketing with a byline on it
  • Content published elsewhere
  • Affiliate round-ups with no real testing behind them
  • Anything written purely for a link, with no value to the reader

What You Get

  • Exposure to an engaged audience of business owners and marketers
  • A quality backlink from an established domain
  • Author bio with a link back to your website
  • Social media promotion across our channels

How to Submit

All guest post submissions go through our main submission page. Please read the full guidelines first:

What a strong health pitch looks like

The pitches that get accepted here come from people who have actually done the thing, not people summarising what other people have written about it.

A weak pitch says “I would like to write about the importance of work-life balance.” A strong one says “I ran a physiotherapy practice for six years, tried four different ways of getting new patients, and only one of them worked. Here is the breakdown.” One is a brochure. The other is worth reading.

The angles that get accepted fastest

  • How a health practice actually filled its books, with the channel that worked
  • Burnout in business owners, written by someone who went through it
  • Ethical marketing in a regulated health field
  • Retention and repeat bookings in a health business
  • What the evidence really says on a topic people get wrong

Frequently asked questions

How long should a guest post be?

Long enough to answer the question properly and no longer. In practice that is usually 1,200 to 2,000 words. Depth matters far more than word count.

How long does a decision take?

We aim to come back to you within a few working days. If the pitch is specific and clearly written, that decision is much faster.

Can I include a backlink?

One contextual backlink to your own site or a relevant resource is fine in an editorial post. More than that reads as link-driven rather than reader-driven.
