Not yet, as far as TikTok's published lists show. Egypt isn't on the region menu of TikTok's seller site, or on the Creator Rewards and Earn abroad country lists, so Egyptian sellers and creators have no official TikTok Shop route today.
Let me save you some time. If you're in Cairo, Alexandria or anywhere else in Egypt and hoping to open a TikTok Shop, the official lists I checked don't include Egypt. That doesn't mean you can't make money from short video. It means this particular feature isn't set up for you yet, and there are some things worth doing in the meantime.
What TikTok's published lists say about Egypt
I looked at three official TikTok lists, and Egypt is missing from all of them. The seller site's region menu covers the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Germany, France, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom, plus a Global Selling option. No Egypt.
The Creator Rewards Program list names the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Mexico and Brazil. No Egypt. And the Earn abroad page, which covers shoppers in markets such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France and Spain, with newer additions including Mexico, Ireland and Poland, doesn't name Egypt either.
I want to be fair about what that proves. Being missing from a list isn't a ban, and no TikTok page I found says Egypt is closed. It says Egypt isn't a market TikTok Shop has published. Plans change, so look at the seller site's region menu before you act on anything I say.
Why guides that say Egypt is supported are risky
Some third-party articles list Egypt among supported markets. I couldn't back that up with any official page, and the official menu contradicts it. A guide that's out of date, or that guessed, can send you to buy a course, hire an agency or set up a company for a feature that doesn't exist for you. When a blogger and TikTok's own menu disagree, trust the menu.
Can an Egyptian open a shop in another country instead?
The short answer is that TikTok's rules make this hard. Its registration requirements say you must live in the country you select for your shop, you need a phone number or email that isn't already tied to another shop, and politicians can't sell. Choosing Malaysia or the United Kingdom from the menu doesn't change where you live.
A shop in a supported country needs documents local to that country, such as national ID for individuals or a company registered there. In Vietnam, for example, individual sellers must be Vietnamese citizens. If you do have a legitimate business or residency in a supported country, that's a legal matter, so ask a lawyer or accountant in that country.
What an Egyptian creator can and can't do with TikTok's earning tools
TikTok Shop affiliate earnings, where creators collect a reward for products sold through videos and LIVE streams, depend on a shop market being open. TikTok's own description of these earnings covers creators aged 18 and over. Without a market in Egypt, I can't point you to a route that pays out there.
TikTok also says payout setup for its programmes needs a payment method, tax information and identity verification, and that payout timing and currency depend on the programme and payment method. Treat any offer to 'send your TikTok Shop money to Egypt' with caution unless it comes through a screen inside your own TikTok account.
The pound question
Egypt's currency is the Egyptian pound, ISO code EGP, issued by the Central Bank of Egypt and equal to 100 piastres. There's no TikTok Shop settlement for Egypt that I can describe, so I can't tell you what exchange rate or payout fee would apply. Be sceptical of any page quoting one.

Route by route: Egypt
| Route | Available in Egypt? | Source checked |
|---|---|---|
| Opening a TikTok Shop as a seller | Not on the published region menu | TikTok Shop seller site |
| Creator Rewards Program | No, Egypt isn't a listed country | TikTok Creator Academy |
| Earn abroad | No, Egypt isn't a listed market | TikTok Shop US seller academy |
| Registering in another country while living in Egypt | Not under TikTok's residency rule | TikTok registration requirements |
A word on VPNs and borrowed accounts
You'll find videos suggesting you can set your phone to another country, or use a friend's account abroad, to get a shop. I'd stay away from that. TikTok verifies identity, address and bank details, so a shop that doesn't match who you really are is likely to be refused or closed, and you could lose both the account and any audience you've built on it. It isn't worth the risk for a feature you can't count on.
What to do while you wait
- Keep making product videos, because the skill carries over to any platform.
- Collect real customer photos and reviews for your products.
- Watch the seller site's region menu, because that's where a new market would appear first.
- Ignore agents who promise a shop for a fee. If it isn't on TikTok's list, they can't deliver it.
If you want to see how short video income looks where TikTok's programmes do run, I've written about TikTok earnings in South Africa and TikTok earnings in the UAE. For a live shop market with strict local rules, the Vietnam seller guide shows what registration involves.

Frequently asked questions
Is TikTok Shop available in Egypt?
Egypt isn't on the region menu of TikTok's seller site, and I found no official TikTok page saying a shop has launched there. Check the live menu, since TikTok adds markets over time.
Can I sell on TikTok Shop from Egypt?
Not through an Egyptian shop, as far as TikTok's published lists show. Its rules also say you must live in the country you choose for your shop, so picking another country from the menu isn't enough.
Can Egyptian creators earn from TikTok Shop affiliate links?
I found no official route. Affiliate earnings depend on a shop market being open, and Egypt isn't a published market.
Is the Creator Rewards Program open in Egypt?
No. TikTok lists the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Mexico and Brazil, and Egypt isn't among them.
What currency would TikTok pay in for Egypt?
There's no published TikTok Shop settlement for Egypt. The currency is the Egyptian pound (EGP), issued by the Central Bank of Egypt.
