These Suno prompts help you make jingles, intros, background tracks and full songs. Copy one, swap the [brackets] for your details and paste it into Suno. Suno's own guide says to describe the genre, mood and theme in plain language, so start there.
I'm not a musician, but I've watched plenty of small business owners and creators use Suno to turn a few words into a finished track. The trick isn't a magic phrase. It's knowing what to put in the style box and what to put in the lyrics box, and being specific about the sound you want.
Every prompt below is ready to copy and paste. Swap the [brackets] for your own details, and don't name real artists to copy their sound. Describe the sound instead: the tempo, the instruments, the mood.

How to get better results from Suno prompts
- Describe the sound in plain language, as Suno's own guide suggests: genre, mood, theme, then add your own lyrics if you have them.
- Use the style box for the sound and the lyrics box for words. Mixing the two tends to confuse the result.
- Use exclusions to steer away from things you don't want, such as "no vocals" or "no heavy drums".
- Pick one clear image or idea per song. Suno's lyric guidance says one image can steer a lyric better than a pile of genre words.
- Give the song a hook that repeats. A short phrase that returns gives the track a shape.
- Make a few versions and compare them. Small changes to the mood words often change the whole feel.

Frequently asked questions
What is a Suno prompt?
It's the plain-language description you type to tell Suno what song to make. Suno's guide says to describe the genre, mood and theme, or add your own lyrics.
Where do I paste these Suno prompts?
Use the song description box in simple mode. In Custom mode there are extra fields, including a space for your own lyrics, so the sound description and the words can be kept apart.
Can I use my own lyrics in Suno?
Yes. Custom mode has a space for your own lyrics, and Suno's help page says you retain ownership and rights to original lyrics you input.
Should I name a band or singer in my prompt?
I wouldn't. Describe the tempo, instruments and mood instead. It gives you a sound that's yours and avoids copying anyone.
How long should a style prompt be?
Keep it short and specific. A few clear descriptors of genre, instruments and mood work better than a long paragraph. Check the limit shown inside Suno's own box.
