A ChatGPT prompt generator turns a vague request into a structured prompt with a role, a task, context, requirements, tone and output format, which is what makes ChatGPT answer specifically instead of generically. Pick a task below, add your topic and audience, and copy the prompt. It runs in your browser, needs no sign-up and works with ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
Why structured prompts beat clever ones
I have run hundreds of prompts for clients and my own business, and the difference between a useless answer and a usable one is almost never the wording. It is whether the model knows who it is meant to be, what exactly it is producing, what it must take into account, and what shape the answer should come in. The generator writes those parts for you so you only supply the two things it cannot know: your topic and your audience.

Frequently asked questions
What makes a good ChatGPT prompt?
A role, a specific task, the context the answer must use, the constraints, the tone and the output format, in that order. Most weak prompts are missing context and format, which is why the answers come back generic. This generator forces all six.
Does the prompt generator send my text anywhere?
No. It runs entirely in your browser, nothing is stored or sent to a server. Copy the result and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other assistant.
Why does the prompt tell ChatGPT to ask clarifying questions?
Because the model guesses when something is missing, and guesses read as confident nonsense. Inviting up to three questions first costs ten seconds and removes most of the rewrites.
Can I use these prompts with Claude or Gemini?
Yes. The structure is model-agnostic: role, task, context, requirements, tone, format. It works the same way in every current assistant.
How do I get better results from the generated prompt?
Replace every [bracket] with a real detail, paste in an example of the output you like, and tell the model what you already tried. The more specific the context box, the less editing you do afterwards.
