These Midjourney prompts help small businesses and creators make product photos, social images, website banners, slide visuals and patterns. Copy one, swap the [brackets] for your details and keep any parameter at the end. Midjourney's own guidance says short, simple prompts that name the subject, light, colour and mood work best.
I get asked for Midjourney ideas all the time, usually by people who've typed a long paragraph, waited, and got something odd back. Midjourney's own help pages point the other way: short, clear prompts that name the few details you care about tend to work better than a wall of instructions.
So that's how I've written this library. It's grouped by the job you're doing, from product shots for an online store to website banners and slide backgrounds. Copy a prompt, swap the [brackets] for your own details, and keep the parameter at the end, where Midjourney expects it. If you're after something more specific, the site has separate collections for logos, book covers and posters, so you won't find those repeated here.

How to get better results from Midjourney prompts
These tips come straight from what Midjourney's documentation says. They've made the biggest difference for the people I've helped.
- Keep it short. Midjourney's Prompt Basics page says short and simple prompts typically generate the best images, and that long lists of instructions can confuse it.
- Name the details that matter to you: the subject, the medium (photo, watercolour, 3D), the setting, the lighting, the colour, the mood and the composition. Leave out anything you don't mind about, and you'll get more variety.
- Use exact numbers rather than plurals. Midjourney's own example is "three cats" instead of "cats", or a collective noun such as "flock of birds".
- Describe what you want, not what you don't. Writing "no cake" can still put a cake in the picture. To remove something, add the --no parameter at the end, such as --no text.
- Set the shape with --ar. Images are square (1:1) by default; 16:9 suits banners and 9:16 suits vertical Stories.
- Try the stylize setting if results feel too literal or too wild. Midjourney says the default is 100 and lower values follow your prompt more closely, while higher values give it more creative freedom.

One last thing on safety. Midjourney's Community Guidelines ask for Safe For Work images and ban using pictures of real people in ways that could harm them. I'd go further for business use: describe invented characters, and only upload photos of yourself or people who've agreed to it.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I put parameters in a Midjourney prompt?
At the very end. Midjourney's help pages say parameters such as --ar for aspect ratio and --no for exclusions get added after the description.
How long should a Midjourney prompt be?
Short. Midjourney says short and simple prompts typically give the best images. Pick the handful of details you care about and drop the rest.
What does --ar do in Midjourney?
It changes the shape of the image. Midjourney images are square by default, so use --ar 16:9 for a wide banner or --ar 9:16 for a vertical Story.
Can I use photos of real people in Midjourney?
Only with care. Midjourney's guidelines ban using images of real people in ways that could harass or harm. For business images I'd stick to invented characters or photos of people who've given permission.
Why does Midjourney add things I told it to leave out?
Because it reads every word as something to include. Its help page gives the example of a party with no cake still showing a cake. Use the --no parameter at the end instead.
