According to Lemon Squeezy's supported-countries page, Pakistan is on its bank payout list with no special note. Payouts run twice a month, with sales held for thirteen days and a fifty dollar minimum. The catch is the fees: a transaction fee, a one percent payout fee for non-US banks, and possible extra international charges.
Developers, designers and course creators in Pakistan often ask me how to sell software, templates or subscriptions to buyers abroad without registering a US company. Lemon Squeezy is one of the names that comes up, because it describes itself as the Merchant of Record and handles the tax side for buyers. What matters for you is whether it can pay a Pakistani bank, and how slowly or expensively. Here's what its docs say.
Pakistan appears on Lemon Squeezy's bank payout list
Lemon Squeezy's supported-countries page lists the countries where it can send bank payouts. Pakistan is on the list and, unlike India, it has no asterisk or note beside it. The page says Lemon Squeezy can offer services to merchants and affiliates who can receive bank or PayPal payouts in one of the hundreds of countries it supports.
It also says that if your country is on neither the PayPal list nor the bank list, you won't be able to use Lemon Squeezy at this time, as either a merchant or an affiliate.
PayPal is not a backup for Pakistan
Lemon Squeezy also supports PayPal payouts in 200+ countries and regions, but PayPal's worldwide country list has an Asia section that names India, Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore, and Pakistan doesn't appear in it. So for a Pakistani seller the bank payout is the route that counts. I've gone through the PayPal side in PayPal in Pakistan.
Twice a month, with a thirteen-day hold
Lemon Squeezy's getting-paid page says payouts are created on the first and fifteenth of the month, and each includes sales since the last payout. Net sales are held for thirteen days before they're available, which makes the payout dates the fourteenth and twenty-eighth. Its worked example: a sale on the fourth goes into the fifteenth payout and is paid out on the twenty-eighth.
It says payouts can then take one to five days to reach your bank account. For Pakistani sellers, that means cash flow needs planning: a sale can take weeks to turn into money in your account.
The fifty dollar minimum
The minimum payout is 50 US dollars. Below that, the payout stays Pending and rolls over, and Lemon Squeezy checks again weekly until the amount is met. A small seller with a few low-priced sales may wait longer than the schedule suggests.
Your local currency, at the mid-market rate
For bank payouts, Lemon Squeezy says the money is converted to your local currency at the mid-market rate on payout day. That's different from some platforms that fix the rate at the sale. It also says you may be asked to verify your identity for fraud prevention. Your bank may take its own fee on an incoming foreign transfer, so ask it.
What Lemon Squeezy charges
- Its pricing page lists a fee of 5% plus fifty cents per transaction for ecommerce.
- It says transactions outside the US may encounter small additional fees.
- A blog post from Lemon Squeezy says payout fees were cut to 1% per payout for bank accounts outside the US.
Those figures come from Lemon Squeezy's pages, which may change, so check the current pricing page before you set a price.
Selling to buyers in Pakistan too
Payouts are one question and who can buy is another. Lemon Squeezy's supported-countries page says it can't accept payments from customers in a list of unsupported countries, and neither Pakistan nor India appears on that list. So a Pakistani buyer isn't blocked at checkout by that rule, though it says nothing about which payment methods they will see.
A simple cash-flow picture
Take Lemon Squeezy's own example and apply it to your launch. A sale that lands early in the month waits out the thirteen-day hold, joins the next payout, and is paid on the fourteenth or twenty-eighth. Then the money can take one to five days to appear in your bank. If you're relying on the income to pay a bill, build that gap into your planning rather than counting a sale as cash the day it happens.
Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?
I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
Bank payouts are the only option I'd count on for Pakistan. PayPal payouts, where available, are always in US dollars and the account must be verified, according to the same page, and PayPal may charge its own conversion or withdrawal fees.
Merchant of Record and reverse invoices
Lemon Squeezy says it handles taxes as the Merchant of Record, which covers the tax on your buyers' purchases. It also generates a reverse invoice automatically for each payout, so you don't invoice Lemon Squeezy yourself, and you can add your business name, address and tax number in the payout invoice info field.
That doesn't replace your own tax duties at home. Please ask a local accountant how the income should be reported.
