Yes, according to Gumroad's help pages, Pakistan is on its bank payout list, and the money arrives in Pakistani rupees to a local bank account. The catch is that Gumroad says it can't pay out in US dollars, doesn't support Payoneer or Wise, and holds payouts until your account passes its review.
If you sell templates, ebooks or presets from Pakistan, Gumroad is one of the first names that comes up, and the first question is always the same: will the money reach me? I've gone through Gumroad's help pages for payouts, fees and delays, and what they say for Pakistan is better than most people expect, with a few catches worth knowing before you build anything on it.
Pakistan sits on Gumroad's rupee bank list
Gumroad's getting-paid article has a table of countries where it supports direct bank deposits, and Pakistan is in it, with PKR as the payout currency. Gumroad also says it supports bank deposits in the local currency for most countries, and offers PayPal only where bank deposits aren't available. For Pakistan the table means a normal local bank account, not a PayPal workaround.
There's no higher local minimum shown next to Pakistan, unlike several other countries on the same table. That means the standard minimum applies, which I'll cover below.
Local currency only, and what that means for you
Gumroad says it can only pay out to a local bank account and in your local currency. It also says it can't pay you in US dollars if US dollars aren't listed as your country's payout currency. So a Pakistani seller can't ask for a dollar payout, and the money will land as rupees.
The part that catches people out is timing. Gumroad says currency conversions happen at the exchange rate at the time of the sale, not at the time of the payout. If you price in dollars and the rupee moves between the sale and the Tuesday payout, the conversion has already been fixed. That's worth remembering when you work out what a sale is really worth to you.
No Payoneer, no Wise, and PayPal isn't the fallback
Gumroad's help page is blunt that it doesn't support alternative payout modes like Payoneer, Wise, check, money order or wire transfer. If you already use one of those for client work, you can't point Gumroad at it.
The usual backup plan is PayPal, but PayPal's worldwide country list has an Asia section that names India, Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore, and Pakistan doesn't appear in it. I've written about that separately in my guide to PayPal for Pakistani sellers. For Gumroad the practical point is that the bank route is the one that matters.
The payout day, the holding period and the minimum
Gumroad's payout day table puts bank accounts in countries it doesn't name elsewhere on a Tuesday. Pakistan isn't named in the Wednesday, Thursday or Friday rows, so by the table's wording that's the group you'd fall into. Gumroad also says bank transfers can take two to seven business days to process, and longer around bank holidays.
- You need a minimum balance of 100 US dollars to receive a payout.
- On weekly, monthly and quarterly schedules, a sale has a minimum holding period of seven days before it becomes eligible.
- Payouts include sales made through the previous Friday, in UTC.
- You can choose how often you're paid and set your own payout threshold.
Identity and address checks before you're paid
For prompt payouts Gumroad asks for a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of residence in the country you select, or a business registered there. Behind the scenes Stripe handles the verification, and Gumroad's payout settings page lists the sort of thing it may ask for: date of birth, legal name, address, a government ID number such as your country's national ID, a photo of your ID and proof of address.
Gumroad says you should use your full legal name and a physical address, with no PO boxes. If the name on your bank account doesn't match exactly, the payout can be rejected, so enter it the way the bank holds it.
Fees as Gumroad states them
On sales made through Gumroad's own website, Gumroad charges 10% plus fifty cents per transaction. It says that doesn't include card processing, which it gives as 2.9% plus thirty cents. Sales that come through Gumroad's Discover section carry a flat 30% fee that includes processing. Gumroad says there are no monthly payments or other hidden charges.

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
Bank charges on the Pakistani side are separate, so ask your bank what it takes when an incoming transfer arrives.
Review delays and the country-change trap
New accounts go through a review before the first payout. Gumroad says it can take one to three weeks, and typically means three to four sales with a balance over 100 US dollars. It adds that you can't speed it up by buying your own product, because payment processors treat that as fraud.
One more warning from Gumroad's settings page. Changing your payout country clears your saved bank account, name, address and tax details, and it forfeits unpaid amounts held on the old country's connected account. Pick your country carefully on day one rather than switching later.

If you also plan to take client work or membership income, my notes on how Wise works for people in Pakistan and what Stripe offers there cover the other routes. For tax questions, such as how to report this income, ask a local accountant.
