Eureka is a real survey and rewards app run by SocialLoop, LLC, according to its own terms, and it says you can cash out at 5.00 dollars through PayPal, a Virtual Visa or gift cards. The catch is that earnings depend on which surveys you qualify for, rewards can be reversed or forfeited, and it's only offered in supported countries.
Small survey apps all promise the same thing: a bit of cash for sharing your opinion. Eureka is one that keeps coming up in the questions I get, mostly from people wondering whether the low cash-out threshold is a sign of something dodgy. I went through the app's own site, its terms and its app-store details to see what it commits to.
The business behind the app
Eureka's terms say the service is operated by SocialLoop, LLC. The Apple App Store listing for the app names SocialLoop LLC as the publisher too, and the same developer puts out other survey apps on Google Play. So there's a named business behind it, which is more than you can say for plenty of copycats.
The site itself describes Eureka as a free rewards app and website where you can make money on your phone or computer, by taking surveys, playing games, watching short videos and doing simple tasks. It also says its support team typically responds within one business day.
How the Eureka reward system works
According to the site, most surveys take 5 to 10 minutes. New users get a 1.00 dollar welcome survey, and a referrer earns 1.00 dollar when a friend they invited cashes out. The headline claim is that members can earn up to 50.00 dollars per day.
I'd read that claim the way I read every "up to" figure. Eureka itself adds that actual earnings vary by survey availability, profile match and time spent. Survey apps match you to studies based on your answers, so some people see plenty and others see few. I haven't seen the app publish an average, so I won't invent one.
Cashing out of Eureka
This is the part that stands out. The site says the minimum is 5.00 dollars, and that as soon as you earn 5.00 dollars you can cash out instantly, with no waiting for funds to process. It's a low bar, which is why some people wonder what the catch is.
- PayPal. Listed as a cash-out option.
- US bank deposit. The site says bank deposits are US-only.
- Virtual Visa. Listed alongside the other options.
- Gift cards. The site says there are over 100 choices.
Take the word "instantly" as Eureka's description, not a promise from me. Delays can still come from payment providers, so keep a screenshot of your balance and request.
Eureka's rules at a glance
| What I checked | What Eureka's own pages say |
|---|---|
| Who operates it | SocialLoop, LLC |
| Minimum age | Eighteen |
| Accounts allowed | One personal account |
| Cash-out minimum | 5.00 dollars |
| Payout choices | PayPal, US bank deposit, Virtual Visa, gift cards |

Who can use Eureka
The terms set the age at eighteen and allow a single personal account per person. They also say the service is offered only in countries and regions the company designates as supported, and that you have to live in one. I couldn't find a plain country list on the pages I read, so check the app store listing and the sign-up screen for your own country before you start.
The catch with Eureka
- Rewards can be changed. The terms say the company may limit access, adjust affected rewards, close an account, or reverse, remove or forfeit pending or available rewards before delivery.
- Inactivity closes accounts. An account that hasn't been logged into for one year or longer may be treated as inactive and closed, with at least 30 days' email notice before final closure.
- Third-party surveys. The terms say survey providers may apply their own terms and privacy notice, so you can be agreeing to more than one set of rules in a single session.
- Low value per minute. Short surveys for small amounts add up slowly, and screen-outs waste time. Treat it as spare-minutes money.
- Your data. Surveys ask about you. Read Eureka's privacy policy, and never answer questions you're not comfortable sharing.

Fake Eureka offers to avoid
Because the app has a recognisable name, imitators exist. Eureka's pages describe a free app with no sign-up fee. Be suspicious of anyone who says you must pay a fee to see surveys, send a code, or share your PayPal password. Install it only from the official store listing and ignore links from unknown senders.
Is Eureka worth trying
It looks like a real, low-stakes survey app with a very low bar for cashing out, so there's little to lose by seeing what you qualify for. Just don't expect it to replace a wage.
