Yes, DeepAI has a free plan you can use without paying anything, with limited HD images, limited chat messages and a daily allowance in DeepAI Code. DeepAI Pro is the paid plan, and as of October 2026 it was $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year.
DeepAI is the site many people find when they search for a free AI image generator or chatbot, and it now bundles chat, images, video, music and a website builder in one account. The free plan is fine for trying things. Here's what it includes, what Pro adds and how DeepAI's prepaid wallet works, all from DeepAI's own pricing page, checked as of October 2026.
What DeepAI's free plan includes
DeepAI describes Free as basic access to try things out, with no account balance needed. The plan lists:
- Limited HD images and editing
- Limited standard chat messages, with file attachments
- Up to 200 Theos a day in DeepAI Code, its coding app
- Limited AI music generation
- A limited photo editor
- 60 seconds a day of AI Voice Chat
The free plan doesn't include Genius or Super Genius modes, memory, live web browsing, video, the AI Website Builder or an ad-free experience. Those are the lines that say what Pro is for.
DeepAI Pro: price and allowances

Prices are as listed on DeepAI's pricing page as of October 2026. DeepAI's FAQ says paying monthly for 12 months costs $119.88, so the yearly plan saves $29.89. It also says your price never goes up at renewal, monthly or yearly.
What else DeepAI Pro includes
- Memory and live web browsing in chat
- 8 seconds a month of 2K Hollywood Mode video, on top of 25 seconds of HD video
- Up to 400 Theos a day in DeepAI Code, double the free plan's 200
- 20 AI Website Builder credits a month, while the builder is in beta
- The full photo editor and AI Voice Chat without the free plan's daily limit
- API access, according to DeepAI's checkout notes
DeepAI says every model on the site is included in Pro, with nothing sold separately. Standard chat runs on a mix of smaller models, while Genius and Super Genius modes use larger ones from several AI companies; the pricing page names models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI and Meta, among others. DeepAI accepts Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Google Pay and Apple Pay.
The prepaid wallet: what happens past your allowance
This is the part to understand before you subscribe. DeepAI Pro isn't unlimited. Once you go past your monthly allowance, usage comes out of a prepaid wallet on your account, at these overage rates:
| Extra usage | Overage rate as listed |
|---|---|
| HD images | $1 per 100 images |
| Standard chat messages | $1 per 350 messages |
| Genius chat messages | $1 per 50 messages |
| HD video | 20 cents per second |
| AI songs | $1 per 10 songs |
You need a positive wallet balance to keep using services past your allowance. You can top it up by hand or switch on auto top-up. DeepAI's own example: make 600 HD images in a month and the first 500 are included, with the extra 100 costing $1 from your wallet.
When the allowance resets
Here's a detail people miss. Your Pro allowances refresh one month after the day you subscribed, then on that same date every month, not on the 1st of the calendar month. If you subscribe on the 20th, your images and messages reset on the 20th.
Cancelling DeepAI Pro
DeepAI says you can cancel any time from your dashboard and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Its checkout notes say Pro renews automatically until cancelled and is non-refundable, so cancel before the renewal date if you're only testing it.
How to use DeepAI for free
- Go to DeepAI and choose Continue with Free on the pricing page; no account balance is needed.
- Start with standard chat or HD images to see if the quality suits you.
- Keep prompts specific, so you use fewer of your limited free generations on retries.
- Download anything you want to keep.
- Only consider Pro if you need Genius modes, memory, web browsing, video or an ad-free experience.

Who DeepAI suits
DeepAI suits someone who wants chat, images, music and a bit of video in one place without juggling several subscriptions. If you only need one of those things, a specialist tool's free plan may go further. For a small business making a few social images and drafts a week, the free plan is a fair place to start before spending anything.
Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?
I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
My verdict: is DeepAI free?
Yes, for light use. The free plan gives you limited images, chat and music with ads, which is enough to test it. DeepAI Pro, at $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year as of October 2026, makes sense if you'll use the Genius models or video regularly. Just remember it isn't unlimited: past your allowance, you pay per use from the prepaid wallet.
