Facebook's content monetisation pays most creators somewhere between $0.30 and $1.20 per 1,000 Reels views once you are in the programme, so a Page doing 1 million Reels views a month is looking at roughly $300 to $1,200 before brand deals, and brand deals usually pay more than that at the same size. Enter your monthly Reels views, followers and niche below and the calculator gives you a realistic low to high band for programme earnings, brand deals and the total. It runs entirely in your browser and nothing is stored.
The calculator
How the calculator works
It uses the figures creators publish about their own payouts rather than a single official rate, because neither platform publishes one. You get a band instead of one number on purpose: payouts move every month with advertiser demand, and a band is the honest answer.
The maths, so nothing is hidden
- Content monetisation programme = monthly Reels and video views divided by 1,000, times $0.30 for the low end and $1.20 for the high end. Only original content from eligible countries earns.
- Brand deal rate = followers divided by 10,000, times $10, times the niche multiplier. The niche figure is a multiplier on the brand deal rate: finance and business 1.3, tech 1.2, beauty and fashion 1.1, fitness 1.05, general 1.0, comedy and entertainment 0.9. The range is minus 30 percent and plus 30 percent.
- Total assumes two sponsored posts a month on top of the programme.
- Not included: Stars, fan subscriptions and in-stream ads on long videos, which can all add to the total.
Currency conversion uses fixed approximate rates (1 USD = 0.78 GBP, 0.92 EUR, 84 INR, 278 PKR), close enough for an estimate and not updated live.
What the estimate does not know about you
Video length, how many ad breaks you enable, the season (advertisers spend most in the run-up to December and least in January), and how many of your viewers are in high-value countries all move the real number. Use the band as your planning figure, then check it against your own analytics after a full month. For the same maths on Instagram, use the Instagram money calculator.

Frequently asked questions
How many followers do you need to get paid on Facebook?
Facebook's content monetisation programme currently asks for a professional mode profile or Page in an eligible country, 5,000 followers or so, and enough recent views to qualify. Brand deals have no follower minimum and are where smaller creators earn first.
How much does Facebook pay per 1,000 Reels views?
Creators in the programme report around $0.30 to $1.20 per 1,000 views, with a mostly US or UK audience at the top of the band. Older articles quoting a few cents per 1,000 refer to the old Reels Play bonus, which has ended.
How much does Facebook pay for 1 million views?
Somewhere around $300 to $1,200 from the programme if the views qualify, which depends on where your viewers are and whether the content is original. A single brand deal on a video that size often pays more.
Do Facebook group admins get paid?
Not automatically. Admins earn through subscriptions, brand partnerships and their own products, not from Facebook for running the group. The programme earnings above apply to Reels and videos on a Page or professional profile.
Is this calculator accurate?
It is an estimate from publicly reported creator figures, not a quote from Meta. Payouts change month to month with ad demand and the programme's rules, and brand deal rates depend on the brand and your negotiation.
