Event Website Builders (2026): 10 Compared

An event website builder creates the site for your conference, meetup or webinar, usually with registration, agendas, speaker pages and ticketing built in. Some are full event management platforms and some are lighter builders for one event at a time. Choose by event size, format and how much you'll run on the day. Ten options follow, in no particular order.

An event website does three jobs: it convinces people to come, it collects the details you need, and it tells them where to be and when. Most event platforms now handle all three, plus check-in on the day.

The ten platforms below cover small meetups, B2B conferences and large hybrid events. They're listed alphabetically and in no particular order, and every description comes from the vendor's own website, read this week. If you're booking speakers, my guide on booking the right speaker for your event helps fill the agenda page.

Event website builders compared

I checked the free plan column on each tool's own website, as of Oct 2026. Yes means the site says the tool, or a plan or version of it, is free. Trial only means a time-limited trial. Not stated means the pages I read named neither, even where there's a button inviting you to start, so check the vendor's page before you sign up.

Ask about access needs when people register

The W3C Web Accessibility Initiative's checklist for accessible events says to ask speakers and participants about their accessibility requirements, for example by including a question on registration forms for conferences.

Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

It's one field, and most organisers forget it. Adding it to the registration form gives you time to arrange captions, seating, dietary needs or step-free routes before the day, instead of scrambling when someone arrives. Check that your event website builder lets you add custom questions to the form, and that the answers reach whoever is planning the venue, catering and captions.

Full event platform or simple event site?

A full platform runs registration, ticketing, the event app, check-in and reporting together. It suits conferences and organisations that run events all year.

A simple event site gets one event online quickly with a page, a form and maybe tickets. It suits a launch, a workshop or a one-off meetup.

If you run more than a few events a year, a platform usually saves time because attendee data stays in one place.

Seven things your event site must cover

  1. The date, time and time zone, near the top.
  2. Where it's happening, with directions or a joining link.
  3. Who it's for and what they'll get.
  4. The agenda and speakers.
  5. A registration form with a question about access needs.
  6. What happens after they register.
  7. Who to contact with questions.

Signs your event site is losing registrations

  • The date is hard to find. Move it up.
  • The form has twenty fields. Cut them.
  • It doesn't say who it's for. Say it.
  • It doesn't work on a phone. Most people register there.

Do you make an event website builder? Tool makers can ask to be considered for a featured place on this list.

My plain advice on event websites

Put the date, place and reason to come in the first screen. People decide in seconds whether an event is for them, and the details they need are often buried under a banner carousel or a long welcome message. Then make registering take less than a minute, because every extra field loses people.

If attendees need badges, my guide to event security ID cards covers what to print.

Frequently asked questions

What is an event website builder?

It's a tool for creating the website for an event, usually with registration, agenda, speaker pages and ticketing built in.

Do I need a separate event website?

For a big or recurring event, yes. For a small one, a page on your own site with a registration form can be enough.

Can event websites sell tickets?

Many event platforms include ticketing. Check how each one handles payments and refunds.

What should an event registration form ask?

Name, email and anything you need to plan, including a question about accessibility requirements.

Are there free event website builders?

Some name free tools or free starter options. Check the free plan column above and the vendor's own page.

How early should an event website go live?

As soon as the date and place are confirmed, so people can save the date and you can start collecting registrations.
