beehiiv shows four plans on its pricing page: Free, Lite, Pro and Enterprise. Free is $0, Lite and Pro show monthly prices on yearly billing for 1,000 subscribers, and Enterprise is a custom figure through sales, as of Nov 2026.
If you're weighing up beehiiv, the pricing page is easy to read once you know what moves the number. Two controls change what you see: a selector for the number of subscribers, which the page sets to 1,000, and a Yearly or Monthly toggle, which defaults to yearly. Every price on this page is quoted at those settings, as of Nov 2026, because that's how the page shows them.
Here's how the four plans line up, with the page's own words for who each one is for.

What changes between the beehiiv tiers
The headline products don't change much as you climb. Website, podcast, community and digital products appear on every plan. What changes is how much room you get, who can work on the newsletter with you, and how much of beehiiv's own branding stays on your work.
Subscribers
Free stops at up to 2,500 subscribers. Lite lifts that to up to 100,000, and Pro to up to 250,000. Enterprise has a custom subscriber limit, agreed with sales rather than shown on the page.
Team, guest authors and publications
Free gives you 1 team seat, 1 guest author and 1 publication. Lite moves to 2 team seats, 3 guest authors and 3 publications. Pro offers 10 team seats, unlimited guest authors and 10 publications, and Enterprise lists unlimited team seats.
Analytics and growth tools
Analytics lookback runs 30 days on Free, 12 months on Lite and unlimited on Pro. Lite adds paid subscriptions with a 0% take rate, ad monetization, automations, audience polls, A/B testing and the beehiiv MCP. Pro adds webhooks, dynamic content, advanced analytics, webinars and coaching, a high AI credits allowance and priority support.
Enterprise extras
Enterprise adds SSO / SAML, dedicated IPs, a customer success manager, concierge onboarding, workspace templates, custom rate limits and enterprise connections. None of it carries a published number: it's a sales conversation.
Where the upgrade forces itself on you
Because the products are the same on every plan, you won't upgrade to get a website or a podcast. You'll upgrade because you've hit a limit. The two that bite first are the Free plan's cap of 2,500 subscribers and its single seat: the day a second person needs to log in, or your list passes that cap, Free is over.
The other one is branding. Removing beehiiv branding is listed for Pro and Enterprise only, so it doesn't come off on Lite. At 1,000 subscribers on yearly billing the page shows Pro at $95 a month against Lite at $49 a month, roughly double, and that's the jump to plan for if an unbranded newsletter matters to your business. For how the platform feels to use day to day, our full beehiiv review covers the product rather than the plans.
Fees that sit outside the plan
Paid subscriptions and product sales run through Stripe. The page lists a Stripe processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction on paid subscriptions and product sales, and says beehiiv itself takes 0%. On ads, the page shows ad monetization averages of $39/mo on Lite and Pro; that's the page's own number, not a promise of what your newsletter will earn.
The billing toggle matters too. The page says yearly billing saves up to 20% compared with paying month to month, so flip the toggle to Monthly before you sign up if you'd rather not commit for a year.

Free plan and trials
Free is described as free forever, with no credit card required. It includes unlimited email sends, email templates, landing pages, the recommendation network, and API and integrations. Lite and Pro include a free trial, and the page notes that the trial ends when you upgrade.

My plain advice on reading beehiiv's page
Here's what the page shows: the tiers are separated by limits rather than products. Subscriber caps, team seats, publications, analytics lookback and branding removal are the lines between Free, Lite and Pro, and the branding only comes off from Pro. Enterprise has no published number, so custom subscriber volume, SSO / SAML and dedicated IPs all mean a conversation with sales.
Before you sign up, set the subscriber selector to match your own list and flip the billing toggle both ways, because what you'll pay depends on both. If automation is the main reason you're looking, our guide to email automation tools is a useful side-by-side read.
