Lyft Pink is Lyft's membership for US riders, and as of October 2026 it costs $9.99 a month or $99 a year, with Lyft Pink All Access at $199 a year. Members get free Priority Pickup upgrades, member-exclusive pricing, relaxed cancellation fees and free lost and found fees, and you can pause or cancel any time.
Here's the catch with the cancellation perk. When you cancel a ride, you still pay the cancellation fee and it still shows on your bank statement. Lyft only credits it back if you rebook within 15 minutes, and the credit lands as a $5 ride credit once you've finished the rebooked ride. It works up to 3 times a month, and a no-show fee can still apply if you're not at the pickup spot within 5 minutes of your driver arriving.

The difference between the plans is mostly bikes, scooters and Black rides. If you don't ride bikes in one of the eligible cities and rarely book Black, the standard plan gives you the same core ride perks.
How the member discount works on rides
The member discount is applied automatically when you request a ride, and it's already built into the estimated upfront price. It stacks with other ride credits and coupons, and it covers wheelchair-accessible Access rides too, except Wait and Save options. It doesn't apply to Wait and Save. To see what you saved, open the main menu, tap Ride history, choose the ride and look at the line items under Payment.
Priority Pickup upgrades mean faster pickups at no extra cost, but they aren't always available. When one isn't, you still get member pricing on your Standard ride.
The lost item perk
This one's simpler than the cancellation perk. Lyft waives the lost item fee automatically after you report a lost item, and there's no limit on how many times you can use it.
Where the bike and scooter perks work
Bike and scooter perks only apply in eligible regions. Monthly members get free unlocks on ebikes and scooters, but per-minute fees still apply, and a classic bike ride includes 30 minutes before extra time fees start. Bluebikes in Boston and Capital Bikeshare in Washington DC don't qualify for any Lyft Pink discounts, and Spin and Bird scooters aren't eligible either.
The fine print on paying for Lyft Pink
Lyft Pink only covers personal rides, so it doesn't apply to rides on a business profile. The plan auto-renews monthly or yearly until you cancel, and Lyft charges your default payment method, then tries your backup if needed. Several payment methods can't be used for the membership fee: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, commuter benefits, and prepaid or gift cards. You can still use all of them to pay for rides. Lyft also collects sales tax in some regions, based on your billing address.

You can pause for up to 28 days at a time. Monthly members can pause once per billing cycle and annual members up to twice a year. Pausing moves your billing date back by the length of the pause, so a 10-day pause pushes it back 10 days. To move from monthly to annual, go to Lyft Pink in the menu and tap Upgrade to annual. You'll pay $99 plus tax where required, and the unused part of your monthly fee is refunded to your payment method.

My verdict on Lyft Pink
I'd only pay for Lyft Pink if you ride Lyft often enough for the member discount and free Priority Pickup to add up, because those are the perks you'll feel every week. Don't count on the cancellation perk to save you much: you still pay the fee and only get a credit after a quick rebook. All Access is worth a look if you ride Divvy, Citi Bike, BIKETOWN or Lyft Bike regularly. If you're a monthly member who's sure you'll stay, upgrading to annual is cheaper over the year.
