The yearly price is lower than paying monthly for twelve months on every tier. Premium, for example, is ₹6,800.00 for the year against ₹650.00 a month. Just weigh that against X's refund rule further down before you commit for a full year.
Why the Play Store or App Store price can be higher
X's FAQ says subscription prices are different on Android and iOS because of application store fees, and that the lowest price is on the web. If you subscribe through the X app on an Android phone, Google Play bills you; on an iPhone, Apple does. For most people in India that means the cheapest route is to open x.com in a browser, choose Premium from the side menu and pay there.
There's a second reason to prefer the web. X says that for app subscriptions, refund and cancellation issues go to Apple or Google directly, not to X.

If you're an Indian creator thinking about earning on X, the middle tier is the one that matters. X lists access to apply for Creator Subscriptions and Original Content Rewards under Premium and Premium+, not Basic. Applying isn't the same as being accepted, so treat it as a door, not a payout.
Things to check before you pay
- Confirm a phone number. X makes every subscriber confirm one, and it won't accept a number already linked to more than ten accounts, one tied to a suspended account, or one linked to an account deleted in the last 30 days.
- Decide monthly or yearly. X's FAQ says subscriptions are non-refundable unless you're moving up a tier or the law requires it, and that includes accounts later suspended.
- Check your profile is ready. For the blue checkmark, X says your account needs a display name, a profile photo and a confirmed phone number, and the review can take several business days.
- Don't change your photo, name or handle straight after subscribing. X says those changes send your account back for review and the checkmark disappears until it's reconfirmed.
