Unbounce is a landing page builder with A/B testing, built for marketers and small agencies running paid-ad pages. The catch that decides it, as of Oct 2026, is traffic: every self-serve plan has a visitor cap, from up to 500 on Starter to up to 50,000 on Optimize, and A/B testing only starts on Experiment at 149 dollars monthly.
Unbounce is the name people look up when they want landing pages they can test, not just publish. I read Unbounce's own pricing page, and what you'll pay isn't set by features alone: it's set by how many visitors you expect each month.

Prices are in US dollars as listed on the page as of Oct 2026. The yearly figures are per month, billed annually, and the page says yearly billing saves 25 percent. Check the vendor's pricing page before you buy.
Unbounce's visitor caps are the hidden price tag
Most page builders sell you on features. Unbounce does that too, but every self-serve plan also carries a traffic volume line: up to 500 on Starter, up to 20,000 on Build, up to 30,000 on Experiment and up to 50,000 on Optimize. If you're sending paid ads to a page, that number matters as much as anything in the feature list, because it tells you which plan your campaign needs before you've picked a single template.
The jump from Starter to Build is the steepest one. Starter also caps you at five pages, while Build opens up unlimited pages, so Starter is a place to launch a first page or two rather than run a campaign. Users and root domains climb with the plans as well: one user and one root domain on Starter and Build, three users and two root domains on Experiment, five users and three root domains on Optimize.
The second lever is testing. A/B testing doesn't appear until Experiment, at 149 dollars monthly or 112 a month on yearly billing, and AI traffic routing waits for Optimize. So a team that wants to split-test is choosing between those two plans, and the visitor cap on each is what should settle it. The good news is on the other side of the ledger: the page says every plan includes unlimited conversions, unlimited subdomains, templates, free hosting and customer support.
What the Unbounce trial lets you do
The free trial runs for 14 days with full access to the plan of your choice, and no credit card required. You won't be charged during it, Unbounce emails you near the end to remind you it's wrapping up, and you can subscribe at any point without waiting for the 14 days to finish.
There are limits, and the page names them: a single user, no custom domains and some traffic restrictions. That means you can't test a page on your own domain during the trial, so plan to judge the builder and the testing tools rather than live campaign results.
What you get inside Unbounce
Starter gives you the hybrid builder, AI copywriting, lead gen forms and an MCP server, plus phone, email and live chat customer support. Build adds custom code, custom styling, custom scripts and pixels, and the page lists 1000+ integrations. Experiment is where the testing kit lives: unlimited variants, manual traffic allocation, confidence intervals, dynamic text replacement and conversion insights and reporting. Optimize adds AI traffic routing, page scheduling, advanced triggers, industry benchmarking and audience insights.
Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?
I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
Testing tools only help if you can read what they tell you, and I've written about how to judge which landing page design converts best. Before you build anything, it's worth checking your draft against the five things every landing page needs.
Good fit, poor fit
- Good fit: marketers and small agencies running paid-ad landing pages who want A/B testing built in
- Good fit: teams who can predict their monthly visitor numbers before picking a plan
- Good fit: agencies that want client accounts and a partner directory listing on the Agency plan
- Skip it: sites with large or unpredictable traffic on a tight monthly line, because the visitor caps are the pricing lever
- Skip it: anyone who needs a custom domain during the trial
- Skip it: buyers who want a plain page publisher, because testing starts at 149 dollars monthly
My verdict on Unbounce
I'd look at Unbounce if you run paid campaigns, you know roughly how many visitors each one sends, and you want testing built into the same tool. I'd start the trial on Experiment, since that's the first plan with A/B testing. I'd skip it if your traffic is spiky or you just want pages live on your own domain at the lowest monthly line, because the caps and the testing threshold work against you there.
