As of October 2026, Spotify Premium in Pakistan costs Rs 379 a month for Individual, Rs 519 for Duo, Rs 679 for Family and Rs 199 for Student. New Premium users who pay by card get the first month at Rs 0, while paying by e-wallet gets you 2 months for Rs 379 instead.
That payment-method split is the detail that's easy to miss on Spotify's Pakistan page, and there's a second one: the one-off prepaid month costs more than the monthly subscription. Here's every plan in rupees, straight from Spotify's own Pakistan page.
Spotify Premium prices in Pakistan
Monthly subscription prices from spotify.com for Pakistan, as of October 2026.
| Plan | Price per month | Accounts | Who it's for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Individual | Rs 379 | 1 Premium account | One person |
| Duo | Rs 519 | 2 Premium accounts | Couples at the same address |
| Family | Rs 679 | Up to 6 Premium accounts | Family members at the same address |
| Student | Rs 199 | 1 verified Premium account | Eligible students in higher education |
Card or e-wallet: the offer changes
For Individual, Spotify shows two different starting offers depending on how you pay:
| How you pay | Individual offer | Student offer |
|---|---|---|
| Credit card and more | 1 month free: Rs 0 today, then Rs 379 a month | 1 month free: Rs 0 today, then Rs 199 a month |
| E-wallet | 2 months for Rs 379, then Rs 379 a month | 2 months for Rs 199, then Rs 199 a month |
Both offers are only for people who haven't tried Premium before. The card route costs nothing up front; the e-wallet route costs one month's price but covers two. If you're likely to keep Premium past the first month, the e-wallet offer gives you an extra paid month for the same total.
The prepaid trap: Rs 399 for one month
Spotify also sells a prepaid Individual month: you pay once in advance, top up when you want and it doesn't auto-renew. The listed price is Rs 399 for 1 month, which is more than the Rs 379 monthly subscription. Student prepaid is Rs 219 for 1 month against Rs 199 on subscription.
| Individual | Price | Renews automatically? |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly subscription | Rs 379 a month | Yes, until you cancel |
| Prepaid | Rs 399 for 1 month | No |
Prepaid only makes sense if you don't want a recurring payment at all, for example if you'd rather not leave card details on file. Otherwise the subscription is cheaper, and you can cancel it anytime. Spotify notes that its equivalent monthly prices are a guide only and that prepaid prices apply.
Duo and Family: how sharing works
Spotify's FAQ on the Pakistan page says Duo is for a couple who live together and Family is for up to 6 family members who live together. For both, Spotify asks for your address to check you live at the same place. You can invite members straight after buying, and each member gets a separate Premium account, so they can listen at the same time, keep their own saved music and playlists, and can't see what the others are listening to.
At Rs 519, Duo costs less than two Individual plans, and Family at Rs 679 covers up to six people for less than two Individual plans too. If three or more of you at home want Premium, Family is the obvious choice.
Student: Rs 199 for up to 4 years
Spotify says Student is for people enrolled at an eligible accredited institution of higher education who are over 18, and you can keep it for up to 4 years. It isn't available to anyone who has already tried Premium. My guide to Spotify Premium Student covers how verification works.

How the free trial works in Pakistan
- You still need to enter a valid payment method to start a trial. Spotify uses it to confirm your country and to charge you if you keep Premium.
- Spotify sends a reminder 7 days before your trial ends.
- If you cancel during a zero-priced trial, you lose Premium immediately and drop to the free service, and that trial can't be reactivated.
- If you cancel a paid plan, it runs until your next billing date, then switches to free.
- Either way, you keep your playlists and saved music on the free plan, with ads.
That immediate cut-off on a free trial is the one to watch: if you want to use your whole free month, cancel near the end, not on day one. My guide to getting Spotify Premium for free covers the official offers in more detail.
What you get with Premium
Spotify's Pakistan page compares its Free plan with Premium and lists these as Premium benefits on every plan: ad-free music, downloads for offline listening, playing songs in any order, high audio quality, listening with friends in real time and organising your listening queue. If downloads are the reason you're upgrading, here's how to download songs on Spotify.
Which plan should you pick?
- Just you: Individual at Rs 379, starting with the e-wallet or card offer.
- You and a partner at home: Duo at Rs 519.
- A family household: Family at Rs 679 for up to 6 accounts.
- A university student over 18: Student at Rs 199.
My verdict
In Pakistan, pick the subscription over the prepaid month every time unless you need to avoid recurring payments, because prepaid costs more. If you're new to Premium, compare the two starting offers: a free month by card, or two months for the price of one by e-wallet. Check Spotify's Pakistan page on the day you sign up, as offers change.
