Seamless.AI Alternatives: 10 B2B Contact Data Tools

The best Seamless.AI alternatives help you find accurate work emails and phone numbers for the people you want to reach. Some are simple email finders, some are full sales intelligence platforms and some add outreach on top. Ten options follow in no particular order.

Contact data tools all promise the same thing: the right person, the right email, the right number. The differences show up in accuracy for your market, how credits work and whether you need phone numbers at all. That's why so many teams try two or three before settling.

The ten tools below are listed alphabetically and in no particular order. Every description comes from the tool's own website, read this week. If you're planning outreach as well, my guide to AI lead generation workflows for service businesses covers what happens after you've found the contact.

Seamless.AI alternatives at a glance

In the free plan column, Yes means the tool's own site names a free plan or free tier, Trial only means a time-limited trial and No means neither is stated on the pages read. Credit systems vary a lot, so compare how many lookups each plan really gives you.

Ten Seamless.AI alternatives to consider

Adapt.io

Best for: Small sales teams building targeted lists of decision makers for a defined industry and company size, then exporting them to outreach.

Apollo.io

Best for: Founders and sales teams who want contact data, email sequences and a dialler in one login instead of stitching several tools together.

Cognism

Best for: B2B teams selling into the UK and Europe who care about phone-verified contacts and data handled with regional privacy rules in mind.

Findymail

Best for: Outbound teams who mainly need verified work emails for cold campaigns and don't want to pay for phone data they won't use.

Hunter

Best for: Marketers and founders who want to find and verify the email pattern at a company domain before sending a handful of personal pitches.

Kendo

Best for: Freelancers and small agencies who want a browser extension that finds verified emails from LinkedIn profiles on a free monthly allowance.

LeadIQ

Best for: Sales reps who prospect from LinkedIn and want contacts, job change alerts and CRM updates captured without copying anything by hand.

Lusha

Best for: Small sales teams that want quick email and phone lookups from a browser extension, starting on a free plan with monthly credits.

Skrapp.io

Best for: Recruiters and marketers who want to find and verify emails from LinkedIn or company searches, then export clean lists for outreach.

ZoomInfo

Best for: Larger revenue teams that want company and contact data with intent signals feeding account planning across sales and marketing.

The UK rule on emailing sole traders

Here's the detail most data tools won't flag for you. The ICO says companies count as corporate subscribers under PECR, but sole traders and some partnerships are treated the same as individuals, and the UK GDPR still applies when you use someone's business contact details for marketing.

Before you email a list from any data tool, check which contacts are sole traders, because the consent rules change for them. Ask each vendor where its data comes from and how it handles requests from people who want to be removed.

Email finder or full sales intelligence?

Email finders do one job well: they find and verify work emails, usually from a name and a company domain or a LinkedIn profile. Sales intelligence platforms add phone numbers, company data, buying signals and CRM enrichment. Some go further and add sequences and dialling so you can contact people from the same screen.

If you send a handful of personal pitches each week, an email finder is plenty. If a team of reps is calling and emailing all day, the bigger platforms earn their place. Paying for phone data you never dial is the most common way teams waste money in this category.

How to test contact data fairly

  1. Pick fifty real prospects you know well, in the markets you sell to.
  2. Run the same list through two or three tools during their trials.
  3. Count verified emails, bounces and correct job titles for each tool.
  4. Check how many credits the test used and what that means each month.
  5. Push a few records into your CRM to test the sync.
  6. Choose on results for your market, not the size of the database.

Signs your contact data is letting you down

  • High bounce rates. Emails that bounce hurt your sending reputation.
  • Wrong job titles. People who've moved on make your outreach look careless.
  • Credits vanish fast. A plan that runs out mid-month slows your team down.
  • Thin coverage in your market. Big databases can still be weak in your niche.

Keeping your list clean after you buy

Data starts going stale the day you export it, because people change jobs all the time. Re-verify emails before every campaign, remove anyone who asks to be taken off and keep a note of where each contact came from. It's dull, but it protects your domain and your reputation.

Credits are where plans differ most

Two tools can look identical until you read how credits work. Some charge for every lookup, some only when they find a verified email and some charge extra for phone numbers. Work out how many contacts you'll need each month and what that means on each plan. It's dull maths, but it'll stop you running out of credits halfway through a campaign.

Do you make a contact data or prospecting tool? Tool makers can ask to be considered for a featured place on this list.

My plain advice on Seamless.AI alternatives

Test accuracy on your own prospects before you look at anything else. A database is only as good as its data for the people you sell to, and that varies hugely by country and industry. Fifty known contacts will tell you more than any sales demo.

Then think about what you'll do with the data. A list is worthless without a good reason to get in touch, so spend as much time on your message as on your tools. My AI lead-gen audit checklist helps you check the whole process, not just the data.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best alternative to Seamless.AI?

It depends on your market and team size. Email finders suit occasional outreach, while sales intelligence platforms suit teams prospecting every day.

Is there a free alternative to Seamless.AI?

Yes. Several tools on this list name a free plan with a small monthly allowance, and others offer free trials.

Can I email B2B contacts without consent in the UK?

The ICO says corporate subscribers are treated differently from sole traders and some partnerships, who count as individuals. Check the rules before you send.

How accurate is B2B contact data?

It varies by tool, country and industry, which is why testing on your own prospects matters.

Do I need phone numbers as well as emails?

Only if your team makes calls. Many teams pay for phone data they never use.

Can these tools sync with my CRM?

Most connect to popular CRMs. Test the sync during your trial with a few real records.
