ReviewTrackers Alternatives: 11 Tools for Multi-Location Brands

For a multi-location business, the right ReviewTrackers alternative is the one that fixes your biggest gap: getting more reviews at each site, replying fast across every location, or how you show up in local and AI search. Check how each tool rolls reporting up by location, and who's allowed to reply on a branch's behalf.

Ten branches means ten sets of reviews, ten listings and ten managers who each think their location is the exception. That's the problem any ReviewTrackers alternative has to solve. A tool that works well for one shop can fall apart at the fifth location.

Built for owners and marketing leads running several sites

This list is for the owner or marketing lead at a business with several locations: clinics, dealerships, restaurants, salons, service franchises. You need one view of every site, but you also need each branch manager to do their part. The tools below handle that split in different ways, and that's the thing I'd judge them on first.

Branch managers won't log into another dashboard every day. They'll answer an email or a phone alert, so look at how each tool gets a new review in front of the person who can fix the problem. Head office wants the opposite: trends, comparisons between sites and early warning when one location starts slipping. You need both in one tool, or you'll end up with spreadsheets again.

The job at each location

More reviews at each site. Grade.us, GatherUp and Widewail all cover review management or automation, so ask each how it prompts customers to review, because quiet branches look empty next to busy ones.

Replies and insight across the group. Birdeye, Chatmeter, Reputation and Swell describe AI platforms for reputation and insight, so ask each how it rolls many locations into one view and shows which branch is slipping.

How each location shows up. Yext, Synup and Local Falcon focus on listings, rankings and what AI search says about you. If customers can't find a branch, more reviews won't help it.

All eleven, A to Z

These are in no particular order beyond the alphabet. Each line paraphrases the vendor's own description, so read it as their claim and ask for a demo using two or three of your real locations, including a weak one.

One review policy for every branch

Review practices are regulated, not just a marketing choice. GOV.UK's reviews and endorsements page notes that the unfair commercial practices provisions of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 came into force in 2025, after the CMA had first published its reviews guidance. For a business with many sites, the practical step is one written review policy that every branch follows, and a tool that can apply it everywhere rather than leaving it to each manager.

It's also worth deciding what you won't do. Don't let branches ask only the customers they know are happy, don't offer rewards for five-star reviews, and don't let a manager delete or bury criticism. If a tool makes any of those easy, that tells you something about who it was built for. The better tools here make the honest route the easy one: everyone gets asked, every review shows, and replies go out fast.

If you only have one or two sites, simpler review management software may be enough. For the replies themselves, my guide to replying to Google reviews has wording you can hand to branch managers, and these review platforms cover the brand-level side.

Advice for multi-location owners

Start with your weakest branch, not your best. Ask each vendor to show you that location's reviews, listings and rankings in their tool, and see what they'd change. Decide who replies at each site and who approves, then pick the tool that makes that workflow easy. Reporting that rolls up by location matters more than any single clever feature.

Frequently asked questions

Should each location reply to its own reviews?

It often works best when branch managers reply, because they know what happened. Give them a short style guide and a way to escalate, and have someone at head office check replies to negative reviews.

Do review tools help with local search?

Some do directly, by managing listings and tracking rankings by location. Others focus on getting and answering reviews, which helps indirectly. If visibility is your gap, pick a tool that covers listings.

Can I ask every customer for a review?

You can ask, but don't filter so that only happy customers get asked. UK rules on reviews are tighter than they were, and GOV.UK has the guidance businesses should follow.

How many tools do I need for reviews and listings?

Many multi-location businesses manage with one platform that covers both. Add a rank tracker if you need to see map positions street by street.
