Petpooja Merchant App for Outlet Monitoring on a Windows PC

Restaurant owners tend to check numbers at odd hours. After the dinner rush, on the drive home, halfway through a supplier call. The Petpooja Merchant App exists for exactly that habit: it gives merchants running on the Petpooja platform a live view of what their outlets are doing without opening the POS terminal itself.

It is a Business category app, published under the name Prayosha Food Services Pvt. Ltd., and it works as a companion layer rather than a standalone system. If your restaurant already runs Petpooja at the counter, this is the window into it from wherever you happen to be standing.

Inside the Petpooja Merchant App

The core function is reporting. The app surfaces outlet statistics, sales figures and revenue on a real time basis, which means the number you see reflects orders that closed minutes ago rather than a report someone exports at closing time.

That matters more than it sounds. Most small restaurant groups still run on end-of-day summaries, so a problem at one branch (a till not being used properly, a delivery channel going quiet) only becomes visible the next morning. Live figures compress that feedback loop to something closer to an hour.

The app is described by its makers as an extension of the wider Petpooja platform, not a replacement for it. Billing, menu edits and the operational heavy lifting stay where they belong, on the POS. What you get here is visibility.

Who ends up checking it

The natural user is whoever is accountable for the numbers but not standing behind the counter. A single-outlet owner using it as a quick pulse check. An area manager comparing three or four locations. A finance person who wants revenue movement before the formal reports land.

Larger operators tend to get more out of it, because the value of a live dashboard scales with the number of things you cannot personally watch. One cafe is easy to keep in your head. Six are not.

That is usually the moment, comparing outlets against a staffing sheet or a marketing spend, when a phone screen stops being enough, and owners look for a way to download Petpooja for PC so the figures can sit open next to everything else.

Notifications that matter

Beyond reporting, the app pushes alerts for critical events tied to the restaurant. This is the part that turns it from a dashboard into something operational, since a notification reaches you whether or not you thought to check.

It also announces new features arriving in the Petpooja POS and related services. For anyone actively expanding what their stack does, that saves the usual routine of discovering a useful capability months after it shipped.

Work with me

Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

Treat the alerts as a triage tool rather than a full monitoring system. They tell you something needs attention; the answer usually still lives in the POS or in a conversation with the outlet manager.

Desktop vantage point

Android apps like this one run on Windows through an emulator such as BlueStacks, which puts the merchant view in a resizable window next to your accounting sheet, your delivery aggregator tabs and whatever else makes up a back-office morning. For a tool you glance at repeatedly through the day, that beats picking up a phone every twenty minutes.

The app was designed for a phone screen, so expect a mobile layout rather than a widescreen dashboard. It still works, and the trade-off is usually worth it when you are cross-referencing rather than just checking a single figure.

Where the app stops and Petpooja starts

Owners forecasting covers, testing menu pricing or feeding sales into a broader analytics setup will find this app is a viewer, not a source. It shows you what Petpooja already knows. Anything you want to model or automate on top of that belongs in the platform's own reporting and integration layer.

Where it earns its place is in reaction speed. Knowing at 8pm that one outlet is tracking forty percent below a normal Friday gives you a chance to act. Knowing at 9am the next day gives you a chance to write it down.

One practical caveat: the app is only useful if your outlets are Petpooja enabled and staff are billing through the system consistently. Live data inherits whatever discipline exists at the counter, and a half-used POS produces a half-true dashboard.

Multi-outlet operators at a desk

The app is built for the person who already spends the day at a desk rather than on the floor, an area manager watching three or four locations, a finance lead reconciling revenue before the formal reports land. Put that view on a bigger screen and the habit of checking a phone every twenty minutes turns into something closer to a running operations panel. Someone working a single outlet's floor all day will do just as well pulling out the phone.
