ESPN Unlimited Price: Plans, Bundles and ESPN+ Explained

As of October 2026, ESPN Unlimited costs $31.99 a month on its own, or $35.99 a month in the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited Bundle. ESPN says if you already get ESPN through your TV or mobile provider, you may be able to activate ESPN Unlimited at no extra cost.

ESPN's streaming lineup changed, and that's why so many people are confused about what to buy. ESPN+ is now part of a two plan system: ESPN Select and ESPN Unlimited. Here's what each one is, what Unlimited costs on its own and in bundles, and the cheapest route to the games you want.

ESPN Unlimited prices

Plan or bundleMonthly priceWhat's included
ESPN Unlimited$31.99All ESPN networks, ESPN+ and NFL Network
Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited Bundle$35.99ESPN Unlimited, Disney+ and Hulu
ESPN Unlimited, NFL+ Premium$41.99Adds NFL RedZone and live local and primetime games on mobile
Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited Bundle and NFL+ Premium$45.99The Disney+ bundle plus NFL+ Premium
ESPN and FOX One bundle$39.99ESPN Unlimited and FOX One together

ESPN lists these as monthly prices on its plans page. The FOX One bundle is shown with a crossed out $49.98 next to its $39.99 price.

What the Disney+ and NFL+ bundles add

The Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited Bundle adds Disney+, with films and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, and Hulu, with originals, complete seasons, films and adult animation.

The two NFL+ Premium bundles add NFL RedZone, live local and primetime NFL games on mobile, and game replays. ESPN's small print says those live NFL+ Premium games play on phones and tablets only, the offers are for US residents aged 18 or over, and you access each service separately rather than in one app. So if you want RedZone on your TV, check how you'll watch before paying the extra.

What happened to ESPN+?

ESPN+ didn't disappear, it moved. ESPN's FAQ explains that existing ESPN+ subscribers were converted into ESPN Select subscribers and keep access to the same ESPN+ content. ESPN Select consists entirely of ESPN+ content, such as soccer, the PGA TOUR, the NHL and college sports. ESPN Unlimited includes everything in Select plus all of the ESPN networks.

That's why searches for ESPN plus price now lead to two plans. If you only want what ESPN+ used to offer, Select is the plan built for that. If you want the main ESPN channels, Monday Night Football and the NBA, you need Unlimited.

What ESPN Unlimited includes

ESPN says Unlimited subscribers get every ESPN network and service, including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, ESPN Deportes, SECN, ACCN, ESPN+, ESPN on ABC, SECN+, ACCNX and NFL Network. Its plan table lists:

  • The NFL, including Monday Night Football and NFL Network
  • College football, including the ACC, Big 12, SEC and the College Football Playoff on ABC and ESPN
  • The NBA and WNBA, the NHL, and men's and women's college basketball
  • LALIGA, the NWSL and WWE Premium Live Events
  • SportsCenter, College GameDay, First Take and ESPN Originals such as 30 for 30

Check your TV provider before you pay

This is the cheapest route, and it's free. ESPN says that if you currently have ESPN through your pay TV or mobile provider, you may already have access to ESPN Unlimited at no extra charge, and it asks you to check with your provider whether your package includes ESPN Select or Unlimited. You then activate it through ESPN rather than buying a new plan.

Switching between Select and Unlimited

ESPN's subscription terms explain how plan changes work. Moving up from Select to Unlimited takes effect immediately, and you're charged a prorated amount for the first month or year of the new plan. Moving down to Select takes effect on your next billing date, so you keep Unlimited until then.

The MLB.TV free month

Baseball fans can get a taste for free. ESPN says new subscribers who buy MLB.TV get a 1 month free trial of ESPN Unlimited, which then auto-renews at $31.99 a month. You don't have to keep ESPN Unlimited to keep MLB.TV.

How to pick the right ESPN plan

  1. Check your TV or mobile provider first, since ESPN Unlimited may already be included at no extra cost.
  2. If you only follow what used to be on ESPN+, look at ESPN Select.
  3. If you'd also pay for Disney+ and Hulu, the $35.99 bundle costs only a little more than Unlimited alone.
  4. Add NFL+ Premium only if you want RedZone and mobile game streams.
  5. Sign up at stream.ESPN.com, where ESPN says you can start either plan.

If you watch most of your sport through a live TV service instead, compare the YouTube TV plans and the guide to watching sports on YouTube TV before you add another subscription.

My verdict

For most households, the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited Bundle at $35.99 is the smartest buy, because it costs only a few dollars more than ESPN Unlimited alone and replaces two other bills. Pay for Unlimited on its own only if you'd never watch Disney+ or Hulu. And before you pay anything, check your TV provider, because you may already have access without paying again.
