Claude Marketplace: The Three Shelves and Who Each One Suits

Claude Marketplace is Anthropic's one place to find plugins, agents and help for Claude: you add connectors and plugins, buy agents and products from partners, or hire certified service partners. As of October 2026 it lists over 2,000 connectors and plugins, and builders can list what they've built too.

The catch is that it's three different shelves, not one. Most people only find the first, the free add-ons, and never see the software or the people you can hire. Here's what's on each shelf and who it suits.

Shelf one: connectors

Connectors let Claude reach into the tools you already use. The most popular ones listed are Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Canva, Microsoft 365, Notion, Figma, Slack, Atlassian MCP and HubSpot.

As of October 2026 the connectors directory shows 1,030 connectors, with an Anthropic verified badge on the top picks. You can filter by category, from commerce, communication and creative through data and analytics, developer tools, education, financial services, health and life sciences, legal, media, nonprofit, productivity, sales and marketing, and travel. You can also filter by type: web, desktop extension or interactive.

The verified badge is the filter I'd use first. If you want to know what happens once a connector is switched on, my guide to how Claude connectors work goes through it.

Plugins for Claude Code

The plugins page is for Claude Code, and as of October 2026 it lists 526 plugins. The verified ones include frontend-design, Superpowers, code-review, context7, code-simplifier, playwright, github, claude-md-management, feature-dev, Security Guidance and vercel. If you're new to them, start with what Claude plugins are and how to add them.

Shelf two: agents and products

This is the shelf where you buy software rather than switch on an add-on. As of October 2026 it lists 22 products, sorted into code, creative, data, financial services, infrastructure, legal, productivity, sales and marketing, and security.

The names on it include AirOps AI Marketing Platform, Augment, Base44, Chainguard, Checkmarx, CodeRabbit, CrowdStrike Charlotte AI, Cursor and Cyera. It's a short, curated list, so treat it as a starting point for a shortlist, not the whole market.

Shelf three: service partners

The third shelf is people. Service partners come in three tiers: Global Premier, Preferred and Select. The services they offer include:

  • AI readiness and governance assessments, and AI strategy and roadmaps.
  • Prototypes and proofs of concept.
  • Claude training sessions.
  • Connector, plugin and API integrations.
  • A jumpstart package for SMBs, plus rollout and activation.
  • Sustained adoption and centre of excellence programmes.
  • Use-case portfolios and business cases.
  • Managed AI operations, platform migration to Claude and process redesign.

You can also filter by the job you want Claude to do: sales and revenue operations, content creation and copywriting, customer support, data analysis, document processing, knowledge retrieval and enterprise search, research or software development. And by where it runs: the Claude API direct, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex or Microsoft Foundry.

How to find a service partner that fits

  1. Pick the regions you need covered. Options include UK and Ireland, the United States, Canada, ANZ and Global.
  2. Choose a delivery location: on-site, hybrid, or remote in your timezone or nearshore.
  3. Choose the engagement type: assessment, pilot or POC, project, managed service, staff augmentation or a training package.
  4. Filter by customer size, which runs from micro SMB, under 100 employees, up to large enterprise, 10,000 or more.
  5. Add your industry and your main Claude use case.
  6. Match the deployment surface you already use, such as Amazon Bedrock or Google Vertex, so the partner works where your data lives.

Where it fits with your Claude plan

Anthropic's pricing page links to the Marketplace from its navigation, and the Team plan lists "Microsoft 365, @Claude, and more" and "Admin controls for remote and local connectors" among its features. So on Team, admins decide which remote and local connectors people can switch on. If you're on a business plan, check with whoever runs it before you add anything.

Work with me

Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

It works the other way too. The Marketplace headline invites builders to list what they've built, so if you make a connector, plugin or product for Claude, this is where it can be found.

I've covered the related side in the Claude API Key guide.

Which shelf should you start with?

Start with connectors. They're the quickest win, and the verified badge takes most of the guesswork out. Only go to agents and products when a connector can't do the job, and only go to a service partner when you're rolling Claude out across a team and need help with adoption, not just set-up. I'd skip the partner route if you're a handful of people: the customer-size filter starts at micro SMB, but a small team usually gets further with a couple of good connectors and some training. If you do want outside help, look for partners offering the SMB jumpstart or Claude training sessions rather than a full adoption programme.

If you want your team using Claude well rather than just switching things on, that's what I do. I run AI training and workshops for teams, and help businesses with AI enablement, AI automation and GEO, which is about getting your business seen and cited in AI answers. Most of that work is with SaaS marketing teams, telecom companies and small businesses. Here's how we can work together.
