Shopify bundle apps let you sell several products together as one offer, such as a gift set, a mix-and-match box or a buy-more-save-more deal. Shopify has its own Bundles app, so a third-party app is only worth paying for when you need something it can't do. Nine apps follow in no particular order.
Bundles are one of the quickest ways to lift what each customer spends, because you're selling more to someone who's already decided to buy. The hard part is picking an app that builds the kind of bundle you have in mind without cluttering your product pages.
The nine apps below are listed alphabetically and in no particular order. I read each one's own website this week, as of Oct 2026. If you're thinking about upsells more widely, my guide to AI upselling and retention for ecommerce is a good companion read.
Shopify bundle apps side by side
I checked the free plan column on each tool's own website, as of Oct 2026. Yes means the page names a free plan, free use or free to start. Trial only means a time-limited trial. Not stated means the page I read named neither, so check the tool's own site before you sign up.

The Shopify bundle rule that catches stores out
Shopify's help page on product bundles says bundles can be sold on the Online Store, Shop and Shopify POS channels, and on the Google and YouTube channel with fixed product bundles only. It also says you need a bundles app installed to create them (Shopify Help Center, read 28 Oct 2026).
Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?
I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
So if Google or YouTube brings in a good share of your sales, a mix-and-match box won't show there. Build a fixed bundle for those channels and keep the mix-and-match offer for your own store.
Keeping an eye on competitor prices before you set a bundle? Try AI price comparison apps.
Does Shopify's own Bundles app do enough?
Shopify has its own Bundles app, so start there and only pay for a third-party app if you need something it can't do. The usual reasons are mix-and-match boxes, volume breaks such as buy three and save, and offers in the cart.
If you sell products you do not stock yourself, check Shopify dropshipping apps too.
Four checks before you launch a bundle
- Set the bundle up so the saving is clear but your margin still works.
- Check stock, because a bundle sells out the moment any one item does.
- Look at the offer on a phone as well as a laptop before it goes live.
- Watch average order value for a few weeks before you add more offers.
Do you make Shopify bundle, upsell or cross-sell apps? Tool makers can ask to be considered for a featured place on this list.
My plain advice on choosing a bundle app
Try Shopify's own Bundles app first. If it can't build the offer you want, pick an app for that one job rather than the one with the longest feature list. Keep fixed bundles for Google and YouTube, and test one offer at a time so you know which one moved the numbers.
When you're ready to plan the timing of your offers, my loyalty and upsell trigger cheat sheet is a handy next step.

Frequently asked questions
Does Shopify have its own bundle app?
Yes, Shopify has its own Bundles app. Third-party apps are worth a look when you need mix-and-match boxes, volume breaks or offers in the cart.
Do Shopify bundles show on Google and YouTube?
Shopify's help page says the Google and YouTube channel supports fixed product bundles only, so mix-and-match bundles won't appear there.
Is there a free Shopify bundle app?
At least one app on this list says you can get it for free, and several others offer a free trial, as of Oct 2026.
What's the difference between a bundle and an upsell?
A bundle sells several products together as one offer. An upsell suggests something extra or better once a shopper is already buying.
Can bundles raise average order value?
That's what most bundle apps are built for, because shoppers add more to one order. Test one offer at a time to see what works for your store.
