The best revenue intelligence platforms pull activity from calls, emails, meetings and the CRM to show which deals are healthy, which are at risk and what the forecast really looks like: large sales teams often want a suite that records every conversation, while RevOps teams want lighter tools focused on pipeline and forecasting. Ten platforms follow in no particular order.
Ask a sales rep how a deal is going and you'll usually hear it's going well. The CRM often agrees, because it holds whatever the rep last typed. Meanwhile the buyer hasn't replied to an email in three weeks.
Revenue intelligence platforms look at what's happening in the deal instead of what's been typed. The ten tools below are listed alphabetically and in no particular order, and every description comes from the vendor's own site, read this week. If your pipeline stages are fuzzy to begin with, my piece on the importance of a sales pipeline is the place to start.

In the free plan column, Yes means the tool's own site names a free plan, a free version or an open source edition. Trial only means a time-limited trial. Not stated means the pages I read named neither, even where there's a button inviting you to try it or book a demo.

What revenue intelligence adds to a CRM
A CRM stores what people enter. Revenue intelligence captures activity automatically, such as meetings booked, emails answered and calls held, then uses it to score deal health, spot risk and predict the forecast. Many platforms now add AI agents that update CRM fields and suggest next steps.
The category overlaps with conversation intelligence, which focuses on recording and analysing calls, and with sales engagement, which runs outreach sequences. Several vendors now offer all three.
Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?
I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
Tell your team before you switch it on
The ICO says workers have the right to be informed about the collection and use of their information, and that you must tell workers about monitoring in a way that's accessible and easy to understand. Apart from very exceptional circumstances where covert monitoring is justified, you must inform workers about any monitoring.
Revenue intelligence captures reps' calls, emails and meetings, so it counts. Explain what's recorded, why and who can see it before the tool goes live. Done well, reps see it as coaching and less admin; done badly, it feels like surveillance.
The forecast side is covered in sales forecasting software.
Questions to ask a revenue intelligence vendor
- Which email, calendar, calling and CRM systems do you capture from?
- How do you score deal health, and can we see why a deal is flagged?
- Can the platform write activity back into our CRM automatically?
- How do you handle recording consent and data protection?
- What does forecasting look like for a team our size?
- Which parts are AI agents, and which still need a person?
Buyer engagement lives in digital sales room software.
Signs your pipeline needs better intelligence
- The forecast keeps missing. Deals slip at the last minute.
- CRM notes are thin. Reps update them on Friday afternoons.
- Managers coach from gut feel. Nobody hears the calls.
- At-risk deals surprise you. Buyers went quiet weeks ago.

My plain advice on choosing a revenue intelligence platform
Be clear about the problem first. If forecasts keep missing, look for strong forecasting and deal health. If reps spend hours on CRM updates, look for automatic capture. If coaching is the gap, call recording and analysis matter most.
Smaller teams rarely need the biggest suite. A lighter platform that captures activity and sharpens the forecast often gets used more. When you do start recording calls, my guide to reviewing sales call recordings helps you turn them into better selling.
Frequently asked questions
What is revenue intelligence?
It's the use of activity data from calls, emails, meetings and the CRM to show deal health, pipeline risk and a more reliable forecast.
What's the difference between revenue intelligence and conversation intelligence?
Conversation intelligence analyses recorded calls. Revenue intelligence looks across all activity and the CRM to judge deals and forecasts.
Do I need to tell staff about revenue intelligence?
In the UK, the ICO says you must tell workers about monitoring, so explain what's captured and why before you start.
Is revenue intelligence only for large sales teams?
No, but smaller teams usually get more from a lighter tool focused on pipeline and forecasting than from a full suite.
Can revenue intelligence update my CRM?
Many platforms log activity and update fields automatically, which saves reps time and keeps records more accurate.
How does revenue intelligence improve forecasting?
It weighs real buyer activity alongside rep judgement, so deals with no recent engagement are flagged before the forecast call.
