The best RB2B alternatives split by what they identify: company-level tools that name the business behind a visit, sales platforms that add buying signals, chat and outreach, and one ecommerce tool built for shoppers rather than B2B buyers. Choose between a person's name and a company's name first, then check where the leads land and where the data is hosted.
Before you compare a single feature, check you're not comparing the same company twice. Dealfront's page now says it's Leadfeeder: same platform, same team, new name. The old VisitorQueue address now shows Leadinfo. And Clearbit's page says it has joined HubSpot as its first native data provider. If an old blog post or a colleague names one of the old brands, that's where it went. If that last one is what you're replacing, there's a separate list of data enrichment alternatives.
RB2B itself identifies website visitors and sends names, LinkedIn profiles and business emails into Slack or your CRM. Its page claims it identifies 70 to 80 percent of visitors, which is its own claim, and it offers a forever-free plan (as of Nov 2026). It's aimed at US B2B teams who want person-level leads fast, and identification is its focus rather than a full outreach suite.
I've listed ten alternatives below in no particular order, alphabetically. Every description comes from the vendor's own website, so the claims are theirs.
Person or company: the first fork
RB2B names people. Most of the alternatives name companies: they tell you that someone from a particular business visited your demo page and leave your team to work out who. Company-level identification is less precise, but it's often easier to act on across a sales team, because you're working an account rather than chasing one person who may not be the buyer. My roundup of website visitor identification tools goes through the wider market.
- You want a name and a LinkedIn profile in Slack: stay with person-level or contact-level tools.
- You sell to accounts with buying committees: look at sales intelligence and ABM platforms.
- You want the company and a CRM alert: look at company-level identification tools.
- You sell to consumers online: look at the ecommerce shopper tool, not a B2B one.
Where leads land and where data lives
Identification is only useful if the lead reaches someone who'll act on it. Check whether each tool pushes to Slack, Teams, your CRM or all three, and whether it can route different accounts to different people. If you're still choosing a CRM to receive those leads, how to pick a CRM for a small business is a useful starting point.
Then ask about hosting. One tool on this list states EU hosting on its page; the others don't say in what I read. If your legal team cares where visitor data is stored, get that answer in writing before you install a tracking script, not after.

Decide in five steps
- Write down whether your buyer is a person at a business or a shopper buying for themselves.
- Choose person-level or company-level identification, based on how your sales team works today.
- List where leads must land: Slack, Teams or your CRM, and who picks them up.
- Ask each shortlisted vendor where visitor data is hosted, and get the answer in writing.
- Run two tools on the same pages for the same fortnight and count the leads your team acted on.
Treat every identification rate as a claim
Every tool in this category talks about how much of your traffic it can name, and the only number that counts is the one from your own site. Your traffic mix, your country split and how many visitors browse from home rather than an office network all change the result.
Run the test, count the leads your team followed up and ignore the headline. A tool that names fewer visitors but sends the right ones to the right rep will beat one that floods Slack with names nobody calls.
My advice for teams leaving RB2B
Don't switch because another tool promises more names. Switch because the names you get aren't turning into conversations. If your reps want accounts rather than individuals, a company-level tool will feel calmer and more useful. If you're in Europe and hosting matters, put that question first. And if you sell to shoppers, you're in the wrong category altogether, so go straight to the ecommerce option.

Frequently asked questions
Does RB2B have a free plan?
Its page says there's a forever-free plan, as of Nov 2026. Check the page for current limits before you rely on it.
What's the difference between person-level and company-level identification?
Person-level tools try to name the individual visitor, often with a LinkedIn profile. Company-level tools name the business the visit came from and leave the person to your team.
Can I use visitor identification for ecommerce?
Most of these tools are built for B2B. One here focuses on DTC and online shoppers that tracking pixels miss, which is a different job from naming business buyers.
Where should identified leads go?
Wherever your team acts fastest. Slack suits small teams who reply quickly; a CRM suits teams who work accounts over weeks.
How do I test an identification tool fairly?
Run it on your own site for at least two weeks and count the leads your team followed up, not the names it found.
