How Much Does Instagram Pay per 1,000 Views in the Philippines?

Instagram pays nothing per 1,000 views in the Philippines, because Meta has no per-view rate for Instagram. Gifts, the tool that pays from a single reel, isn't on the list for the Philippines either. Facebook is where Filipino creators have more open doors: Meta lists the Philippines for both Facebook Content Monetization and Facebook Stars, and Tagalog is a supported language.

If you've seen a peso figure for 1,000 Instagram views, it didn't come from Meta. Here's what Meta does pay on, how the Philippines compares on each tool, and how I'd split my effort between Instagram and Facebook if I were a Filipino creator today.

Every rule and figure on this page comes from Meta's own Help Center pages, read as of October 2026.

Why Instagram has no rate per 1,000 views

Instagram's payout page lists four tools it pays out from: badges, bonuses, Gifts and Subscriptions. None of them pays per view. Bonuses reward performance, but Instagram calls them a test that creators join by invitation, with rules for each bonus. So there's no published amount for 1,000 views, in pesos or any other currency.

How the Philippines compares, tool by tool

Meta toolPhilippines listed?Pays on
Instagram GiftsNoStars sent on Instagram reels
Instagram bonusesInvite-only testEach bonus's own terms
Facebook Content MonetizationYes, and Tagalog is supportedAds on public reels
Facebook StarsYesStars fans send on your Facebook content

Gifts' country list includes nearby markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, but not the Philippines. Instagram's Partner Monetization Policies say you must live in a country where a tool is available, so for now Gifts aren't an option for Filipino creators.

Why Facebook is ahead for Filipino creators

This is the part that's easy to miss. Meta lists "The Philippines" for Facebook Content Monetization, which covers public reels published in listed countries and languages, and both English and Tagalog are on the language list. That means a reel you made for Instagram, posted publicly on Facebook in Tagalog or English, can qualify.

The Philippines is on the Facebook Stars list too. Stars are bought by fans and sent on your gaming, live, on-demand, reel, photo or text content. To earn from them you need:

  • 500 followers for at least 30 consecutive days.
  • To be 18 or older and live in a country eligible for Stars.
  • To meet Facebook's Partner Monetization and Content Monetization Policies, and agree to the Stars terms.

To check, open your Professional dashboard on Facebook and click Stars below Tools to try. For a Page, go to Meta Business Suite on the web, click Monetization, then View Page eligibility.

Three Facebook Stars details worth knowing

  • You choose where Stars appear. Meta says creators can enable or disable Stars at any time on eligible content, from the Options menu on a reel or post.
  • Fans can buy Stars outside your videos. The Stars Store lets them buy Stars using Facebook Pay, which Meta says comes with lower fees.
  • Facebook shows you the way. The Creator Perks tool in your professional dashboard lists actions you can take towards monetization tools and tracks your progress.

Facebook Stars and Instagram Gifts aren't interchangeable. Meta says a Facebook Stars balance can't be used to send Gifts on Instagram, so treat them as two separate audiences and two separate incomes.

What drives earnings from views in the Philippines

  1. Brand deals with Filipino businesses, where your views are the evidence of reach. Instagram requires the paid partnership label on every paid post.
  2. Facebook Content Monetization on public reels in English or Tagalog.
  3. Facebook Stars from fans, once you've held 500 followers for 30 days.
  4. Your own products and services, sold to the followers your views bring in.

How I'd split my time as a Filipino creator

I'd keep making reels for Instagram, because that's where your portfolio of work lives. But I'd post every reel publicly on Facebook too, and I'd build towards the 500-follower mark there as early as possible, because the 30-day clock only starts once you're over it. And I'd post in whichever of English or Tagalog my audience speaks at home, since both are on Meta's language list, so there's no need to translate everything.

Whatever you do, keep the audience real. Instagram says creators can lose the ability to monetize if their audience is largely fake likes, follows or views, and Facebook's Stars rules require you to meet its Partner Monetization Policies too.

View thresholds differ by country, so for the Indian side read how many views Indian creators need to reach payouts.

Getting paid by Meta in the Philippines

Outside the US, Meta pays once your balance reaches $25 for most payout methods, or $100 for wire transfer, around the 21st of the month for the previous month's earnings. Smaller balances roll over. International payouts can take up to 10 days to reach your bank or PayPal account.

My verdict

1,000 Instagram views in the Philippines isn't worth a fixed amount, and anyone who quotes one is guessing. Use Instagram for brand deals and Facebook for Meta's money, where the Philippines is better served. Check both dashboards once a month, because Meta adds tools and countries quietly, and the creators who notice first get the head start.
