Peacock's student page offers Premium for $6.99 a month for 12 months, down from $12.99. You'll need to verify your student status each year, and after the 12 months you're charged $12.99 a month or the then current retail price until you cancel. You can pay with a valid credit card or PayPal.
Monthly or annual: which is cheaper?
On Premium, twelve monthly payments of $12.99 come to more than the $129.99 annual price, so the annual plan wins if you'll watch all year. The catch is commitment. Plenty of people only want Peacock for a season of a show or a run of live sport, and for them two or three months of the monthly plan is cheaper than any annual deal.
- Decide what you're subscribing for: a specific show or event, or all year viewing.
- If it's a short run, pay monthly and cancel when it ends.
- If it's all year, take the annual plan at the tier you need.
- If you have Apple TV, compare the bundle against two separate subscriptions.
