As of October 2026, Apple One costs $21.95 a month for Individual, $27.95 a month for Family and $39.95 a month for Premier in the US. It's a monthly subscription with no long term commitment, and in the UK the same plans are £18.95, £24.95 and £36.95.
Apple One bundles Apple's subscriptions into one bill, and the question everyone asks is whether it's cheaper than paying separately. Apple's own page shows the comparison for each plan, so you can see exactly what you'd save. Here are the prices for the US, UK, Australia and Canada, plus what each plan includes.
Apple One prices by country
| Plan | US | UK | Australia | Canada |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Individual | $21.95 | £18.95 | A$24.95 | CA$22.95 |
| Family | $27.95 | £24.95 | A$34.95 | CA$30.95 |
| Premier | $39.95 | £36.95 | A$52.95 | CA$46.95 |
All prices are monthly. Apple says you can cancel at any time, as long as you do it at least a day before your monthly renewal date, and you keep access until the end of the billing period you've paid for.
What each Apple One plan includes
| Plan | Services | iCloud+ storage | Sharing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Individual | Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade | 50GB | Just you |
| Family | Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade | 200GB | Up to five other people |
| Premier | All six: adds Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+ | 2TB | Up to five other people |
With Family and Premier, Apple says each person gets private access on their own devices, so family members don't see each other's activity or documents.
How much you save compared with paying separately
Apple's US page shows what each plan's services would cost if you bought them one by one:
- Individual: Apple TV $14.99, Apple Music $11.99, Apple Arcade $6.99 and 50GB of iCloud+ at $0.99. Apple says that's $34.96 a month separately, against $21.95 for the bundle, a saving of $13 a month.
- Family: Apple TV $14.99, Apple Music Family $19.99, Apple Arcade $6.99 and 200GB of iCloud+ at $2.99. Apple puts that at $44.96 separately, against $27.95, a saving of $17 a month.
- Premier: Apple says it saves $35 a month across all six subscriptions and 2TB of iCloud+.
In the UK, Apple shows Individual saving £11.01 a month and Family saving £15.01 a month against buying the same services separately. Apple lists Apple TV at £9.99 a month on its own in the UK, so check the breakdown for your own country before you decide.
The catch: you only save if you'd use them
Those savings assume you'd otherwise pay for every service in the bundle. If you only want Apple Music and some storage, Apple One Individual costs more than Apple Music at $11.99 plus 50GB of iCloud+ at $0.99. The bundle wins when you'd pay for at least two of Apple TV, Apple Music and Apple Arcade anyway.
There's also a storage wrinkle. Apple says that if you already have an iCloud+ plan bigger than the one in your Apple One plan, you'll keep paying for it separately, though you can cancel it. Check your iCloud storage before you switch.
What's inside each service
If you're not sure whether you'd use everything in the bundle, here's how Apple describes each part on its Apple One page:
- Apple Music: more than 100 million songs and 30,000 playlists, ad free, with Spatial Audio and live Apple Music Radio.
- Apple TV: series, films and kids' entertainment, with new Apple Originals added every month.
- Apple Arcade: over 200 games with no ads or in app purchases, playable online and offline.
- iCloud+: storage for photos, videos, backups and home security videos, plus privacy features.
- Apple Fitness+ (Premier only): 12 workout types plus meditation, with sessions from 5 to 45 minutes.
- Apple News+ (Premier only): hundreds of magazines and leading newspapers, local news, sports and audio stories.
The Apple One free trial
Apple says any subscriptions you don't already have are free for the first month of Apple One. If you currently pay for any of them, you'll keep being charged for those separately until the trial ends and you move onto a paid Apple One plan. After the trial, it renews as a monthly subscription.
Apple also advertises 3 months of Apple One free with a new iPhone, iPad or Mac, for new and qualified returning subscribers, once per Apple Account or Family Sharing group. My guide to the Apple One free trial covers the details.

How to choose an Apple One plan
- List the Apple subscriptions you pay for today and what they cost you.
- If you live alone and use at least two of Apple TV, Music and Arcade, Individual is likely cheaper.
- If anyone else in your home uses Apple services, compare Family, which shares everything with up to five people.
- Only choose Premier if someone will use Apple News+ or Apple Fitness+, or you need 2TB of storage.
- Check your current iCloud+ plan size so you don't end up paying for storage twice.

My verdict
Apple One is good value only when it replaces subscriptions you'd pay for anyway. A family already paying for Apple Music Family and Apple TV should switch to the Family plan at $27.95 straight away. A single person who only uses Apple Music shouldn't, because the bundle costs more than what they need. Premier at $39.95 is for households that would use all six services, and few do.
