TikTok monetization in Pakistan works through LIVE Gifts, not views. The Creator Rewards Program that pays for views is only open to creators based in eight countries, and Pakistan isn't one of them. Creators in Pakistan who are 18 or over can earn Diamonds from LIVE Gifts and withdraw them through a payment method TikTok supports there.
If you're a creator in Pakistan, the honest answer is that TikTok doesn't pay you for views. What it does offer is a path through LIVE: viewers send Gifts, Gifts turn into Diamonds, and Diamonds can be withdrawn. Everything else, brand deals especially, happens between you and the brand.
Is TikTok monetized in Pakistan? Programme by programme
| Way to earn on TikTok | Open to creators in Pakistan? | What decides it |
|---|---|---|
| Creator Rewards Program (paid for qualified views) | No | Only creators based in, and with accounts registered in, the eight listed countries |
| LIVE Gifts and Diamonds | Yes, under the rest-of-world rules | Age 18 or over, access to LIVE, and a withdrawal method TikTok supports in Pakistan |
| Brand deals and paid promotions | Yes | Negotiated directly with each brand, case by case |
Why Creator Rewards isn't available in Pakistan
TikTok's Creator Academy lists exactly where its view-based programme runs: the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Mexico and Brazil. Pakistan isn't on the list. And TikTok is specific about what counts: you must be based in one of those countries and have an account registered there.
That second part is the catch people miss. A VPN, a friend's foreign SIM or switching your app's region doesn't make you based somewhere else, and TikTok's rule is about where you're based and where the account was registered. Trying to fake it puts the whole account at risk, because Creator Rewards excludes accounts flagged for suspicious activity, and 5 total account violations make you permanently ineligible.
For reference, the eligibility bar where the programme does run is a Personal Account, age 18 or over, at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, with original videos over 1 minute long. It's the same set of rules other excluded countries face; my piece on whether TikTok pays creators in Nigeria shows how similar the picture is there.
How to monetize TikTok in Pakistan with LIVE Gifts
Because Pakistan isn't in the EU or India, TikTok's rest-of-world Virtual Items Policy is the one that applies to you. Here's how it works, step by step:
- Get access to LIVE. The policy says the Live Stream Program is open to users aged 16 or over, with parent or guardian permission between 16 and 18, and that TikTok selects users based on criteria such as their track record and follower numbers.
- Be 18 or over to earn. Only users aged 18 (or the age of majority where they live) can receive Gifts with monetary value, earn Diamonds and withdraw them. A teenager under 18 can go LIVE but can't earn from Gifts.
- Collect Gifts. Viewers buy Coins, turn them into Gifts and send them during your LIVE. Each Gift becomes Diamonds in your account.
- Check your Diamonds. You can see your balance in real time in your account.
- Withdraw. Choose a withdrawal option in your account. TikTok calculates what you receive from your Diamonds and shows the rate at the point of withdrawal.
The policy is clear that the conversion rate from Gifts to Diamonds is set by TikTok from time to time, at its sole discretion. That's why I won't quote you a figure: there isn't an official one for Pakistan, and anyone who gives you an exact amount per Gift is guessing. If you want to understand the split in general terms, I've explained how much TikTok takes from Gifts separately.
Getting paid: the withdrawal rules that matter in Pakistan
- You need a supported method. TikTok's withdrawal instructions say you need a withdrawal method TikTok supports in your region or country. Check what the app offers you before you put serious hours into LIVE.
- Payouts are in US dollars. The policy says withdrawals are denominated in US dollars. Converting to rupees is up to your payment channel, and that channel's own charges apply.
- Your name must match exactly. For PayPal, TikTok says your first and last name must exactly match your verified account, or the payment won't be sent. TikTok may also check your identity and age before paying.
- Limits can change. There are daily withdrawal limits, and thresholds can change at TikTok's discretion and under the laws of the country where you live.
- Refunds come back to you. If a viewer is refunded for Gifts, the money you withdrew for them is forfeited, and TikTok can ask you to pay it back within 5 business days of its notice.
- Tax is on you. TikTok says taxes on these payments are your responsibility.
Brand deals: the other income stream
For most creators in Pakistan, brand partnerships are where serious income comes from, because they don't depend on a TikTok programme at all. There's no official rate. What decides the deal is your audience, how well your content fits the brand, and what you negotiate. Two things from TikTok's rules still matter: paid promotions never count towards Creator Rewards anywhere, and your account needs to stay in good standing so brands can trust it.
If you're comparing notes with creators abroad, remember that view-based numbers from the eight eligible countries don't apply to you. For example, my guide to TikTok pay per thousand views in Australia explains why even some large markets sit outside the programme.

A quick checklist before you start
- Make sure you're 18 or over, or wait until you turn 18 before relying on Gift income.
- Use a Personal Account and keep it free of violations.
- Check that TikTok offers you a withdrawal method in Pakistan and that the name on it matches your account exactly.
- Build a regular LIVE schedule so viewers know when to find you.
- Pitch brands with your audience numbers and examples of your best videos.
My verdict
TikTok monetization in Pakistan is real, but it's narrower than the videos promising view money suggest. Don't chase Creator Rewards: it isn't open to Pakistan, and faking a location risks the account you've built. Put your energy into LIVE, where Gifts can be withdrawn, and into brand deals, which reward a loyal audience wherever you're based. I'd treat every exact per-view or per-Gift amount you see online with suspicion, because TikTok itself doesn't publish one.
Frequently asked questions
Is TikTok monetized in Pakistan?
Partly. The Creator Rewards Program isn't open to Pakistan, but creators aged 18 or over can earn from LIVE Gifts and withdraw Diamonds through a method TikTok supports there.
