Write for Us Blogging: Blogging Blog Guest Post Guidelines
Yes, blogging guest posts are accepted on this blog. The ideal writer is a blogger, writer or content lead who has grown a blog and can show real numbers or lessons from doing it. We decline posts that just list blogging tips everyone already knows, and anything written to sell a blogging course or a paid tool rather than to teach.
Most blogging pitches fail because they read like a top ten tips post copied from a search results page: write consistently, know your audience, use good headlines. None of it tells a reader what happened when someone tried it. What this blog wants instead is a specific blog, a specific decision, and the traffic, engagement or income result that followed, told plainly and with enough detail that a reader could try the same thing themselves.
I've been blogging for years, so I know the difference between advice that sounds good and advice that worked for someone. My readers are business owners and bloggers who write for their own audience and want to know what is worth their time. They read this blog for real lessons from real blogs, not another list of things they have read a hundred times before.
60-second blogging guest post check
A strong submission can answer yes to all five points:
- Have you run the blog or the decision you are writing about
- Do you have a number, timeframe or result to point to
- Does your opening answer the reader's question straight away
- Have you removed any pitch for your own course or tool
- Could a solo blogger act on this today
Read the guidelines and submit your guest post.
What we publish
- How you grew a blog's traffic and what moved the number
- Turning a blog into a lead generation channel for a business
- Blog monetisation lessons from running your own site
- Editorial calendars and consistency for a solo blogger
- Repurposing old blog posts into new traffic and leads
- Guest posting and outreach lessons from the writer's side
- Blog design and reader experience changes that changed engagement
- Writing routines and processes that keep a blog going long term
If your post could be published on any blogging site with the logo swapped, it is not for us.
What we don't accept
- Generic tips lists like ten ways to improve your blog
- Posts explaining what blogging is with no personal experience
- Articles written mainly to promote a blogging course or tool
- Previously published posts republished from another site
- Thin content with no numbers, examples or specifics
What you get
- Your article in front of an engaged audience of business owners, marketers and founders
- One relevant, contextual link back to your own site
- A byline and the credibility of an established, high-traffic blog
- Editorial help to make the piece as strong as it can be before it goes live
How to submit
Send your pitch or draft through the contact form. Include the topic, the one specific problem the post solves, and a line on your first-hand experience with it. One idea per pitch works best. You will hear back on whether it is a fit before you write the full draft.
What a strong blogging pitch looks like
A weak pitch says "I want to write about why blogging is still important in today's world." A strong one says "My blog went from eight hundred to eleven thousand monthly visitors in ten months, and I want to write about the three changes that caused it." One is a brochure. The other is worth reading.
The angles that get accepted fastest
- A specific traffic or income result from your own blog
- A change you made that backfired and what you learned
- A process another blogger could copy this week
- A monetisation lesson beyond the usual affiliate advice
- A contrarian view on a common piece of blogging advice

Frequently asked questions
Does Lilach Bullock accept blogging guest posts?
Yes. Blogging guest posts are welcome from writers and bloggers who have grown a blog and can share what happened. We publish articles on traffic growth, monetisation, editorial process and blog strategy, written from first hand experience. Generic tips posts with no personal experience behind them get declined.
What blogging topics do you accept?
Blog traffic growth, turning a blog into leads, monetisation, editorial calendars, repurposing old posts, guest posting from the writer's side, design and reader experience changes, and writing routines for consistency. The common thread is a specific lesson with a result attached, not a general overview of blogging.
Can I include a link back to my own site?
One contextual link back to your own site is fine when it is relevant and helps the reader. Posts written purely to build a backlink with no real value are not published. We do not accept posts written mainly to promote a paid course or tool.
Do you accept previously published content?
No. Every submission must be original and not published anywhere else first, including your own blog, Medium, LinkedIn, or a guest slot on another site under a different name. Republished or lightly reworded content gets declined, and we check before it goes live, so send us something new rather than an old post reworked.
How do I submit a blogging guest post?
Send your pitch through the contact form with the topic, the specific result or lesson you will cover, and a line on your own experience running the blog you are writing about. One idea per pitch works best, and you will hear back before writing a full draft.
Do you accept sponsored or commercial partnerships?
Commercial and partnership enquiries are handled separately from editorial guest posts. If you are a brand or agency wanting to work together rather than pitch an article, say so in the contact form and you will get the right details back.
How long should a blogging guest post be?
There is no fixed word count, but posts that do well usually run between one thousand two hundred and two thousand words, because that is what it takes to walk through a real result step by step. A short post with a real number beats a long post with none.
What makes a blogging pitch stand out?
A number readers can picture and a title that names the outcome, such as how I doubled my blog's email signups in one quarter. Editors want a specific story from a specific blog, not general encouragement to start writing more often.
