My list of guest post sites includes 83 UK domains. When I checked them live in September 2026, 67 were still working and 41 of those had a domain authority of 40 or higher. Business is the biggest category. Many UK blogs use .com too, so check traffic by country. My own marketing blog accepts sponsored and guest posts, and most of its readers are in the USA and the UK.
If you want a guest post in front of British readers, a UK site is the obvious place to start. The good news is that UK sites are easier to spot than US ones, because so many use .co.uk or .org.uk. The catch is that plenty of British blogs run on .com, so the domain only gets you part of the way.
What my list shows about UK guest posting sites
I keep a free list of websites that accept guest posts. In September 2026 I checked all 3,204 sites on it. Here's what the UK slice looked like:
- 83 sites on a .uk domain
- 67 of them live, 16 dead or parked
- 41 of the live ones at DA 40 or higher, with a median DA of 42
- Business is the biggest group, then travel, writing, health, home and garden, and marketing
That's a higher median authority than the list as a whole, which makes sense. Many UK sites on it are long-running trade and business publications.
15 UK sites from my list, by domain authority
These were live when I checked in September 2026. Guidelines change, so always read a site's current contributor page before you pitch. Some take free editorial pieces, some only take sponsored content, and a few are very selective.
- huffingtonpost.co.uk: DA 90, blogging
- wired.co.uk: DA 88, business
- e-architect.co.uk: DA 66, home and garden
- bmmagazine.co.uk: DA 61, business
- lawgazette.co.uk: DA 61, law
- smallbusiness.co.uk: DA 60, business
- simplybusiness.co.uk: DA 59, business
- bdaily.co.uk: DA 57, business
- crunch.co.uk: DA 57, finance
- trainingzone.co.uk: DA 54, training and writing
- hrreview.co.uk: DA 54, HR and marketing
- artsprofessional.co.uk: DA 53, arts
- matthewwoodward.co.uk: DA 51, marketing
- tutorful.co.uk: DA 50, education
- totstotravel.co.uk: DA 48, travel
The full list, with all 67 live UK sites and thousands of others, is in my list of websites that accept guest posts.
How to check a site reaches UK readers
- Traffic by country. In any SEO tool, check the UK share of organic traffic.
- Spelling and references. British spelling, pounds, HMRC, the NHS and UK brands are good signs.
- Rankings. See whether the site ranks in UK results for the topics you care about.
- Don't rule out .com. Plenty of UK blogs never bought a .co.uk.
- Check it's alive. 16 of the 83 UK sites on my list were dead or parked. Across the whole list it was 18%.
Writing for UK readers
British business readers tend to dislike hype. Plain language, real numbers and a bit of dry honesty go a long way. Use UK spelling and UK examples, keep the sales pitch out of the article, and show what you did and what happened. If a UK editor spots a press release dressed up as a blog post, it goes straight in the bin.
Where my blog fits
lilachbullock.com has been publishing since the dial-up days. My readers are business owners, marketers and entrepreneurs around the world, and most of them are in the USA and the UK. So a post on my blog reaches UK readers without cutting you off from the US audience.
It's a good fit if you're in:
- Marketing, SEO, social media and email marketing
- SaaS, AI tools and technology
- Small business services, finance and productivity
I take sponsored guest posts, link insertions into existing articles and product mentions in relevant roundups. Accepted posts usually go live within 24 to 48 hours of everything being agreed, and placements stay live.
Writing for free as a contributor? The guidelines are on my write for me page, and each niche has its own page: digital marketing, SEO, SaaS, AI, technology, small business, business, finance, health and travel.
Agencies placing for UK clients
If you're an agency or reseller with UK clients, tell me the client's niche and market in your first email. I only deal with you, never the client, and you'll get the live URL for your report. More on that on the white label guest posts page.
What the UK sites on my list cover
Of the 67 live UK sites on my list, business is by far the biggest group with 14 sites. Travel has 5, and books and writing, health and fitness, home and garden, and marketing have 4 each. The rest are spread across law, finance, arts, science, religion, politics and more.
So if you're in business services, B2B or finance, you'll find the most UK options. For a narrow consumer niche, you may need to look at .com sites with a strong UK readership as well.
Free or sponsored on UK sites
UK trade and business publications often take free contributions from people with real expertise, but they're selective and slow. Lifestyle, travel and parenting blogs are more likely to offer sponsored posts. Check each site's contributor or advertise page, and if it isn't clear, ask. A short, polite email saying what you want is fine.
Pitching a UK editor
- Keep the email short: who you are, the angle, why their readers will care
- Show you've read the site by naming a recent article
- Offer something specific, like a case study with numbers
- Don't send a finished article unless their guidelines ask for one
- If you don't hear back in two weeks, assume it's a no and move on
The same approach works on my blog. A specific pitch always gets a faster answer than a vague one.
Ready to place a post? Start on my write for me page or email [email protected] with your target URL, topic and niche. You will get a straight answer, usually within a working day.
