Repurpose.io Review: The Trial, the Plans and the Account Cap

Repurpose.io republishes your videos and audio across social networks automatically, and it suits creators and small businesses posting the same clip in several places. The limit that decides your plan, as of Oct 2026, isn't videos but accounts per network: three on Starter, ten on Pro and 25 on Agency.

Repurpose.io's pitch is that you post once and it handles the rest. I read Repurpose.io's own pricing page to see how the plans split, and the line that matters most isn't the one in big type.

Repurpose.io plans, monthly and yearly

PlanPriceWhat's includedThe limit that bites
Starter35 dollars billed monthly, or 349 dollars billed yearly5,000 published videos a monthUp to three accounts per social network
Pro79 dollars billed monthly, or 790 dollars billed yearlyUnlimited published videos a monthUp to ten accounts per social network
Agency179 dollars billed monthly, or 1,790 dollars billed yearlyUnlimited published videos a monthUp to 25 accounts per social network

Prices as listed on Repurpose.io's pricing page, which says they're shown in US dollars, as of Oct 2026, check the vendor's pricing page before you buy. The yearly toggle is labelled as saving 17%.

Accounts per network, not videos, set your plan

Most people expect a video tool to be priced by how much you publish. Repurpose.io isn't, not in any way you'll notice. Starter already allows 5,000 published videos a month, and Pro and Agency don't cap them at all. What changes between the plans is how many accounts you can connect on each social network.

The page gives an example for each plan: three Instagram, three TikTok and three YouTube on Starter; ten of each on Pro; 25 of each on Agency. So if you run one brand with one account per network, Starter covers you. The moment you add a fourth Instagram account, say for a second brand or a client, you're on Pro.

That's the question to answer before anything else: count your accounts on your busiest network. That number picks your plan for you.

How the free trial ends

Every plan shares the same free trial, and you don't choose a plan until it's over. The page says no credit card is required. The trial lasts 14 days, and within that time you can publish ten audios or videos for free. It ends at whichever comes first, so if you publish ten clips on day three, that's your trial done.

I'd plan the trial around that. Pick the three or four workflows you'd run every week, connect the accounts you'd use, and publish slowly enough that you see the whole fortnight. Ten clips go quicker than you think when one video is heading to several networks.

What Repurpose.io does

You connect your social accounts, choose where a video or audio comes from, and Repurpose.io republishes it to the other networks you've picked, so one upload turns into posts in several places without you redoing each one. It's built around automation rather than editing, so it's at its best when your content already exists and simply needs to be in more places.

A few things it's worth being clear on before you connect anything. First, it moves content you've already made; it won't write or film it for you. Second, the plan limits are per network, so a mix of two Instagram accounts and three YouTube channels still sits within Starter, because no single network goes over three. Third, all plans share the same trial, so you don't need to guess the right tier on day one. You'll see your own account count and posting rhythm first, then choose.

If you're setting up the whole routine, I've mapped out a content repurposing workflow for solopreneurs, and there's a broader guide to an AI repurposing system for a small business if you want the bigger picture.

Who should pick Repurpose.io, and who shouldn't

It suits creators and small businesses who post the same video to several networks and want it republished from one source without fuss. It suits agencies too, provided their account count fits the Agency cap.

It's also a good match for anyone whose content starts as long video or audio and who wants it out in more places without spending an afternoon on uploads. If you're cutting long videos into short clips first, I've covered AI clipping tools for long videos separately.

I'd skip it if you've got more than three accounts on one network and don't want to move up to the 79-dollar Pro plan, or if you're after a permanent free plan, because the page offers the 14-day trial only.

Repurpose.io: my advice before you start the trial

Count your accounts first, then start the trial. If you've got three or fewer on every network, Starter is the plan to test against, and the video allowance won't be what stops you. If you're over three anywhere, go in knowing Pro is your real starting point. On billing, the yearly option is labelled as saving 17%, so if the trial convinces you, it's worth checking that toggle before you pay monthly.
