Some game apps in Pakistan do pay players, mainly rewards apps, free-entry skill tournaments and esports competitions, and payouts are usually small. Many others are scams that ask for deposits or invites. Only use apps from Google Play or the App Store, never deposit to withdraw, and avoid betting apps, which are illegal in Pakistan.

Search for real earning games in Pakistan and you'll find hundreds of apps promising you can play and withdraw to Easypaisa or JazzCash. A few of them do pay players something. Many don't, and some are built to take money from you rather than give it. This guide explains which kinds of game apps can pay, how to tell a real one from a fake, and the legal lines you shouldn't cross.
I'm not naming individual apps here. Apps appear, change their rules and disappear quickly, and a name that's safe one month can be a problem the next. Instead you'll get the types to look for and a checklist you can use on any app before you install it.
Which kinds of game apps can pay players in Pakistan?
Most legitimate game earning comes from a few types of app. None of them will replace a job, and rewards are usually small, but they're the categories where real payouts happen.
| Type of app | How you earn | What to watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Rewards and offerwall apps | Points for playing partner games, reaching levels or finishing short tasks | Slow progress, high withdrawal thresholds, tasks that ask for personal data |
| Skill tournaments with free entry | Prizes for top scores in puzzle, card or casual games | Entry that switches to a deposit, bots in matches, unclear prize rules |
| Esports tournaments | Prizes for teams or players in organised competitions | Fake organisers asking for registration deposits |
| Play-to-earn crypto games | Tokens or items you can trade | Upfront purchases, token values that collapse, scams posing as games |
| Betting, casino and colour prediction apps | Wagering money on results | Illegal in Pakistan, high risk of loss, blocked apps and frozen accounts |
The first three types can be legitimate. The fourth carries a lot of risk. The last one isn't a game earning app at all, it's gambling, and you should stay away from it.
How do you tell a real earning game from a fake one?
Fake earning apps follow the same pattern again and again. Pakistan's securities regulator, the SECP, has warned about apps that show fake dashboards with growing balances, let people withdraw a little at first to build trust, then block withdrawals once larger deposits come in. Game apps often copy this model.
- Deposit first. If you must put money in before you can play or withdraw, treat it as a red flag.
- Invite chains. If you earn mainly by recruiting friends, rather than by playing, it's a referral scheme dressed up as a game.
- Moving withdrawal limits. The minimum withdrawal keeps rising, or a new task appears every time you get close.
- Unbelievable promises. Daily income claims, VIP levels and big bonuses for topping up are signs to leave.
- No real store listing. The app is shared as an APK file on WhatsApp, Telegram or a website rather than through Google Play or the App Store.
- Copied reviews. Store reviews that all sound alike, or recent one-star reviews that say withdrawals stopped.
- No company details. No registered company name, address, privacy policy or support email.
My online earning app safety checklist goes through these warning signs in more detail, and it works for any app, not just games.
How do you check a game earning app before you install it?
- Search for the app on Google Play or the App Store, not through a link someone sent you.
- Read the most recent reviews first, sorted by newest, and look for complaints about withdrawals.
- Open the developer name and check whether it lists a website, privacy policy and contact email.
- Read the app's rules on rewards and withdrawals before you play. Note the minimum withdrawal and how long it takes.
- Check which permissions it asks for. A simple game shouldn't need your contacts, SMS or call logs.
- Search the app's name with words like scam, fraud or not paying, and see what other players say.
- Play for a while without depositing anything, and request a small withdrawal as early as the rules allow.
- If anything asks for a deposit, an upgrade or your wallet PIN, stop.
How do payouts to Easypaisa, JazzCash or a bank work?
Real reward apps usually let you swap points for a payout once you reach a minimum balance. In Pakistan the common routes are mobile wallets such as Easypaisa and JazzCash, a bank transfer, or gift cards and mobile top-ups. Some international apps only pay through methods that aren't easy to use in Pakistan, so check the payout list before you start.
- You should only ever need to share your wallet number to receive a payout. Never share your PIN, OTP code or CNIC photo with a game app.
- Expect a delay. Many apps review withdrawals before they pay out.
- If an app asks you to deposit before it releases a withdrawal, it's a scam.
- Keep screenshots of your balance and withdrawal requests in case you need to complain.
If you're specifically looking at wallet payouts, I've written separate guides on earning apps that withdraw to Easypaisa and on whether ludo earning apps in Pakistan are legit.

Are betting and real-money gaming apps legal in Pakistan?
Gambling is prohibited in Pakistan under the country's gambling laws, and online betting apps are treated as illegal in practice. The authorities have blocked gambling apps and acted against people who promote them. Google Play only allows real-money gambling apps in a limited set of countries, and Pakistan isn't one of them, which is why many of these apps are shared as downloads outside the store.
That covers casino games, sports betting, colour prediction and many ludo or card apps where you pay to enter and the winner takes the pot. If an app needs you to stake your own money on a result, treat it as gambling. I'm not a lawyer, so if you're unsure about a particular app, take local legal advice rather than relying on an app's own claims.
What should you realistically expect from game earning apps?
- Most players earn small rewards, slowly. It's pocket money for time you'd spend playing anyway.
- Skill tournaments reward the top players, so most entrants won't win.
- Rewards apps make money from advertisers, so the more tasks and offers you complete, the more data and time you give them.
- Apps that seem to pay a lot quickly are the ones most likely to stop paying later.
- Time spent learning a skill, freelancing or selling something online usually earns more than playing for points.
