Moz Pro is an SEO suite that now bundles rank tracking and site crawls with AI visibility tracking, and it suits small businesses and in-house marketers looking after a handful of sites. The catch, as of Oct 2026: each plan is sized by seats, tracked sites, keywords and AI prompts, and the yearly rate sits below the monthly one, so read both figures before you pick.
Anyone searching "moz pro review" is mostly after one thing: which plan, and what it'll stop you doing. I read Moz's own pricing page and its compare-plans table, and the plans are cut by how many sites, keywords, prompts and people you can fit in. Here's what that means once you're paying for it.
Moz Pro plans at a glance
| Plan | Price (dollars, monthly or paying yearly) | What's included | Where it runs out |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 99 a month, or 79 a month when you pay yearly | One seat, 3 tracked sites, 300 tracked keywords a month, 400K pages crawled a month, 150 tracked prompts, 3 AI visibility dashboards, 2 AI content briefs a month | Core SEO features rather than all of them, and no site re-crawls in the compare table |
| Medium | 179 a month, or 143 a month when you pay yearly | Two seats, 10 tracked sites, 1,500 tracked keywords a month, 2M pages crawled a month, 300 tracked prompts, 6 dashboards, 10 content briefs a month | 10 site re-crawls and 30 on-demand crawls |
| Large | 299 a month, or 239 a month when you pay yearly | Three seats, 25 tracked sites, 3,000 tracked keywords a month, 5M pages crawled a month, 600 tracked prompts, 12 dashboards, 50 content briefs a month | 25 site re-crawls and 60 on-demand crawls |
| Entry-level plan | 49 a month | Designed for individuals managing a single website | One website, with no further detail on the page |
Figures are as listed on Moz's pricing page as of Oct 2026, in dollars, with each plan's monthly figure shown next to its pay-yearly figure. Extra AI visibility dashboards are 20 dollars each on top. Check the vendor's pricing page before you buy.
Why Moz Pro's prompt allowance matters more than its keyword count
The newer half of Moz Pro is AI visibility: you track prompts across 3 AI models (GPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode) and see where your brand turns up in the answers. Every plan lists the same three models and the same weekly prompt tracking frequency. What changes between plans is volume: 150 tracked prompts on Standard, 300 on Medium and 600 on Large, with 3, 6 and 12 AI visibility dashboards. If you need one more dashboard, it's 20 dollars each.
That's the part I'd plan around. Weekly tracking means you're looking at a weekly picture, not a daily one, and if you care about a model that isn't on that list of three, no plan on the page adds it. AI content briefs scale the same way, at 2 a month on Standard, 10 on Medium and 50 on Large. If tracking prompts at all is new to you, my guide to how AI search is changing SEO explains why brands have started watching it.
The second thing is the gap between monthly and yearly billing. The page shows both figures on every plan: 99 or 79 dollars a month for Standard, 179 or 143 for Medium, 299 or 239 for Large. Its own savings labels read 238, 429 and 720 a year. I'd choose the plan first and the billing second, because paying yearly on the wrong plan locks the wrong limits in for twelve months.
Then there's the 49 dollar entry-level plan, which the page says is for individuals managing a single website. That's all it says. It doesn't list the keywords, prompts or dashboards that come with it, so if those matter to you, ask Moz before you sign up rather than assuming it mirrors Standard.
What Moz Pro covers on the classic SEO side
On the traditional SEO side, the plans are sized by track and crawl campaigns (3, 10 and 25), keyword rankings (300, 1,500 and 3,000) and pages crawled, which the compare table puts at 100,000, 500,000 and 1,250,000 a week. The table lists MozBar Premium, 24/7 support, Moz AI-powered tools and mobile rankings among its rows. Performance metrics come in two allowances: on-demand URLs (6, 20 and 50) and tracked URLs (60, 200 and 500). On-demand crawls run 5, 30 and 60, and site re-crawls are 10 on Medium and 25 on Large, with a dash against Standard.
Standard is described as the basics of SEO with core SEO features, while Medium and Large list all SEO features, and Large adds 2x higher quotas on top of Medium. AI overviews by keyword and AI prompt suggestions research appear on all three main plan cards. Keyword slots go further when you've chosen them well, so it's worth reading up on researching competitor keywords in your niche before you fill 300 of them.

Moz Pro: a fit for some, a skip for others
It fits
- Small businesses that want rank tracking, site crawls and AI visibility tracking in one suite.
- In-house marketers running up to 10 sites who need a second seat, which is Medium.
- Owners of one website who can look at the 49 dollar entry plan before anything bigger.
Skip it if
- You want dozens of sites or thousands of keywords on the smaller plans: Standard stops at 3 tracked sites and 300 keywords.
- You need prompt tracking in AI models beyond GPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode.
- You want daily prompt tracking, since the plans list a weekly frequency.
Verdict: which Moz Pro plan I'd pick
I'd start with the 49 dollar entry plan if you've got one website and just want to watch your rankings, but because the page gives no further detail on it, I'd move to Standard the moment you need more than one site or want the AI dashboards listed in writing. For a business with a few sites and a second person in the tool, Medium's the one I'd look at hardest: 10 sites, 1,500 keywords, two seats and 300 prompts. I'd skip Moz Pro if what you mostly want is AI tracking across lots of models, because the list stops at three.
