According to its US terms and conditions, Roadget Business Pte. Ltd runs the site and app, and that SHEIN Distribution Corporation is the seller and payment collector in the US. Roadget is also the parent company Wikipedia lists for Shein, so Romwe belongs in the same family of brands as Shein. The terms also say Roadget sources some of its products from third-party manufacturers and wholesalers.
Shoppers need to be at least 16 years old, according to the terms. That's younger than many shops allow, so parents might want to keep an eye on what a teenager is ordering.
How Romwe returns work in the US
The US return policy says you have 60 days from the purchase date to decide if an item is right for you. Refunds go to your Romwe Wallet or your original payment account, based on your request. The first return label for each order is free for US customers. Each additional label for the same order costs 7.99 US dollars, which comes out of your refund.

A New York Attorney General Assurance of Discontinuance, number 22-066, names SHEIN Distribution Corporation and Zoetop Business Company, Limited. It says login credentials for more than 39 million Shein accounts were exposed in a cyberattack in 2018, and that nearly 7.3 million Romwe accounts had login credentials stolen. It requires 1.9 million dollars in penalties and costs, and says Zoetop is no longer operational after a restructuring.
That's a settlement document rather than a court ruling, and it's about something that happened years ago. It still gives me a practical tip: use a password on Romwe that you don't use anywhere else, and change any reused password. A shop that holds your card and address should be treated like a bank login.
