A good Facebook page name in Bangla is short, easy to say and clearly tells people what the page is about. Below are more than fifty original Bangla page name ideas, each with Bangla script, an English spelling and its meaning, grouped by shops, food, poetry, memes, travel, faith, study and personal brands.
Your page name is the first thing people see in search results, so it's worth getting right before you post anything. I've made up every name here, so none of them come from a real page, but plenty of Facebook names are similar, so search the name first to see what already exists.
How to pick a page name
- Keep it short. Two or three words are easy to remember, type and share.
- Make it easy to search. Think about how your audience will type it. Many people search in Bangla script, while others type Bangla words in English letters, so choose a name that works both ways, or add an English tagline in your page description.
- Match the topic. Someone who reads the name should guess the content. A food page should sound like food, not like a shop.
- Choose the category to match. The category shows under your name and helps people understand the page, which I've explained in Facebook page categories explained.
- Think ahead. A name tied to one product or one year can feel dated, so keep it broad enough to grow with you.
Now to the ideas. Use them as they are, or mix the words to build something that feels like yours.

- [নাম] বলছি ([Name] Bolchhi): [Name] speaking

- [নাম]-এর কথা ([Name]-er Kotha): [Name]'s Words
How to make these names your own
A name that works for everyone else may still feel generic. Try swapping one word for something local, such as your town, your product or your speciality. For example, তোমার ঘরের সাজ would turn the home decor idea into a direct invitation, and চায়ের আড্ডা could become a name that mentions your city. Say each name out loud before you decide. If it's awkward to say, it'll be awkward to share.
Check the spelling in Bangla script carefully, because one wrong mark can change the meaning or make the page harder to find. Ask a friend who reads Bangla well to look it over before you publish.
Facebook's page name rules in plain words
Facebook reviews page names, and a few simple habits keep you on the safe side.
Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?
I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
- Don't use a name that misleads people about what the page is.
- Don't pretend to be another person, brand or organisation, and don't use someone else's trademark.
- Avoid ALL CAPS, repeated symbols and emoji clutter in the name. Plain words get approved more smoothly.
- Don't use a name that is only a generic word with nothing to make it yours.
- Keep it respectful. Names with insults or hate are likely to be removed.
The rules can change, so if Facebook rejects a name, read the message it shows and adjust. Also, if you plan to run more than one page, my guide on how many Facebook pages one account can have is worth a look.
How to change a page name later
If you pick a name and later regret it, you can usually change it from the page's settings. Open your page, go to Settings and look for page information or the name field, then enter the new name and submit it for review. Menu names move around, so search the settings for the word "name" if you can't spot it.
Facebook may take a little while to approve the change, and it limits how often you can switch. So think before you rename. I've written a full walkthrough, including how to avoid losing followers, in change a Facebook page name without losing followers.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use Bangla script for a Facebook page name?
Yes. Facebook supports Bangla script, so you can use Bangla, English letters or a mix. Think about how your audience will search for you before you decide.
Should I write my page name in Bangla or English letters?
It depends on your audience. Bangla script feels natural for readers, while English letters can be easier to type. Many pages use one in the name and the other in the description.
What if the name I like already exists?
Facebook may allow similar names, but a unique name is easier to find and avoids confusion. Add a word that describes your topic or your area to set it apart.
Can I change my Facebook page name later?
Usually yes, from the page settings, though Facebook reviews the change and may limit how often you can do it.
