Best Dedicated GPU Servers (2026): 10 Hosts Compared

The right dedicated GPU server depends on the exact GPU and form factor in the box, where the data centre is and whether you want a managed server with support or raw bare metal you run yourself. This page lists ten dedicated GPU server hosts in no particular order, with what each one is good for.

A dedicated GPU server is a whole physical machine that's yours for the month. Nobody else shares the GPU, the memory or the disks, which is why studios, AI teams and businesses with steady workloads often prefer it to hourly cloud instances.

The ten hosts below are listed alphabetically and in no particular order. Every description comes from the host's own website, read this week. If you're choosing a host for a website rather than AI work, my guide to choosing a hosting provider is the better place to start.

Dedicated GPU server hosts at a glance

I checked the free plan column on each provider's own website, as of Oct 2026. Yes means the page I read names a free plan, free tier, free credits or open source software. Trial only means a free trial or starter credit. Not stated means the pages I read named neither, even where there's a button inviting you to start, so check the provider's page before you sign up. A free tier rarely covers the biggest GPUs.

Liquid Web

Best for: Teams that want dedicated NVIDIA servers with the CUDA toolkit on single-tenant hardware, backed by managed hosting support.

Which host fits the job

  • Healthcare or finance workloads: Atlantic.Net.
  • Custom bare metal builds: Cherry Servers.
  • A wide choice of GPU models: GPU Mart or HOSTKEY.
  • Servers in many countries: Hostrunway.
  • Low-latency game and real-time services: i3D.net.
  • Daily or weekly billing in Europe: LeaderGPU.

Two GPUs called H100

NVIDIA's H100 specifications list two versions. The SXM card has 80GB of GPU memory and a maximum thermal design power of up to 700W, while the PCIe-based NVL card has 94GB and 350-400W.

Work with me

Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?

I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.

So two servers both described as H100 machines can behave quite differently. One version is built for dense multi-GPU boards with fast links between cards, the other slots into standard servers. Memory, power, cooling and how well several GPUs work together all change. Before you compare two offers, ask the host which form factor it's renting, how many GPUs share the board and how they're connected.

Dedicated server, bare metal cloud or GPU VPS?

A classic dedicated server is rented by the month, set up for you and left running. It suits steady work like inference for a product or a render queue.

Bare metal cloud gives you the same single-tenant hardware but with an API, so you can create and remove servers in minutes.

A GPU VPS shares a physical machine with other customers through virtualisation. It's an easier first step, with less control over the hardware.

Seven checks before you rent a GPU server

  1. Which exact GPU model and form factor is in the server?
  2. How much system memory and disk comes with it?
  3. Where is the data centre, and what network speed is included?
  4. Is the server managed, or are you responsible for drivers and updates?
  5. How quickly is failed hardware replaced?
  6. What's the minimum rental period?
  7. Can you upgrade to more GPUs later?

Do you make dedicated GPU servers? Tool makers can ask to be considered for a featured place on this list.

My plain advice on dedicated GPU servers

Rent a dedicated server once you know your workload is steady. If the GPU will be busy most of the day, a monthly machine is simpler to run and plan around than juggling hourly instances. If it sits idle half the week, stay with hourly or serverless options until it doesn't.

Ask for a short trial period or a monthly contract first, and run your real job on it. My guide to deep learning explains why GPU memory, not just speed, decides what you can run.

Frequently asked questions

What is a dedicated GPU server?

It's a physical server with one or more GPUs that you rent on your own, so no other customer shares the hardware.

Is a dedicated GPU server better than cloud GPUs?

It's better for steady, predictable work. Cloud GPUs are more flexible for short or bursty jobs.

What is the difference between H100 SXM and PCIe?

NVIDIA lists the SXM version with 80GB and up to 700W, and the PCIe-based NVL version with 94GB and 350-400W, so they suit different server designs.

Do I need to manage the server myself?

It depends on the host. Some offer managed servers with support, while bare metal hosts leave drivers and software to you.

Can I use a dedicated GPU server for gaming or rendering?

Yes. Several hosts on this list mention rendering, gaming or real-time workloads as well as AI.

What's the shortest rental term for a GPU server?

It varies by host. Many rent by the month, and at least one host on this list names daily and weekly billing too.
