The best AI for banking depends on which job you're buying for, because banking AI is sold in separate pieces. Some platforms fight fraud and financial crime, some verify identity at onboarding, some support lending and underwriting, some give customers and relationship managers insights, and some run the contact centre. Name the job, then compare the vendors that sell it.
Banks don't buy AI as one thing. They buy it a job at a time, and the vendor names on a shortlist can cover very different ground.
This list covers ten AI platforms sold to banks and lenders, using only what each vendor's own website says, read on 2 Nov 2026 (as of Nov 2026). It's alphabetical and in no particular order, and it describes each product the way the vendor's own page names it.

One vendor, one job
Here's what's easy to miss: banking AI is sold as separate jobs, and one vendor name often covers only one of them. Feedzai calls its product a 'RiskOps platform'. Posh AI is 'AI built for banking' for contact centers and self-service. Zest AI splits 'credit underwriting' from fraud detection, and Ocrolus is an 'AI workflow and analytics platform for lenders'.
Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?
I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
- Fraud and financial crime: platforms for fraud and AML work, some with AI agents for fraud teams.
- Identity and onboarding: identity verification and checks when a customer signs up.
- Lending and underwriting: credit underwriting and workflows for lenders.
- Customer insight and assistants: insights for customers, consoles for relationship managers and AI for contact centres.
- Governed AI: platforms for turning AI activity into governed work.
From the fraud team to the relationship manager
The buyer inside the bank changes too. Personetics gives relationship managers a 'Banking Console'. Zafin talks about 'governed operations' for regulated institutions. Alloy combines identity verification with continuous fraud management, and Sardine sells modular products from device intelligence to credit underwriting.
So a fraud lead, a head of lending and a contact centre manager could each shortlist a different set of names from this one list. That's how these vendors sell, so it's worth knowing before the first call.
What to ask a banking AI vendor
- Which job is this for: fraud, identity, lending, customer insight or the contact centre?
- Does the vendor's own page cover that job, or only a neighbouring one?
- Who in the bank will use it day to day?
- Does it offer an AI agent, and what work does the vendor say it takes on?
- Is it a single product or modular pieces we can pick from?
- Which of our systems will it need to connect to?

My advice for banks shortlisting AI
Write down the one job you're buying for before you book a demo. Fraud, identity, lending, customer insight and the contact centre are sold as separate products here, and a vendor that sells one of those jobs may not sell the next. Shortlist by job, then ask each vendor to show you the product its page names, not the whole brochure.
