Beautiful.ai is AI presentation software that suits people who build decks often and want slides that design themselves. The catch, as of Oct 2026: there's no free plan on the pricing page, only a 14-day free trial of Pro or Team, and the Teams price is worded two different ways.
Beautiful.ai promises decks that format themselves, and people searching for a review mostly want to know if that's worth paying for once the trial ends. I read Beautiful.ai's own pricing page and homepage to set out what Pro and Teams include and where the wording needs a second look.
Beautiful.ai Pro and Teams in one table
| Plan | Price shown | What's included | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free trial | Free for 14 days | A 14-day trial of Pro or Team | Not a permanent free plan |
| Pro | 14.50 dollars a month for individuals, billed annually | Unlimited AI content generation, over 300 Smart Slide layouts, PowerPoint import and export, AI images, a writing assistant, translation, a custom theme builder | Built for one person |
| Teams | 40 dollars a month billed annually, or 50 dollars billed monthly | Everything in Pro plus real-time collaboration, a shared slide and template library, version control and locked slides, shared assets, live data linking, viewer and slide analytics | Whether the figure is per user or covers three users (see below) |
Prices are in US dollars as Beautiful.ai's pricing page showed them as of Oct 2026. Check the pricing page before you buy.
Two ways of reading the Teams price
Here's the wording problem. Near the top, the pricing page says teams of 2 to 20 pay 40 dollars per user per month billed annually, or 50 dollars billed monthly. Then the Teams card itself shows 50 and 40 dollars a month with a note that it includes three users, and lists fixed pricing for up to three users among its features.
Those two readings lead to very different bills for a team of five or ten. I won't guess which one applies to your account. Before you pay, check the live Teams card, or ask Beautiful.ai to confirm the seat maths for your headcount in writing.
The other thing to know up front: there's no permanent free plan on the pricing page. You get 14 days of Pro or Team, then you pay. The site menu does list free plans for students, so if you're studying, look there first. And the page says its live demos are best for enterprise teams with more complex onboarding, pointing everyone else to the 14-day trial.
What Beautiful.ai does to a deck
The idea is Smart Slides: layouts that auto-align and auto-format as you add content, so you're not nudging boxes around. Beautiful.ai says every seat includes unlimited AI content generation, over 300 Smart Slide layouts, and PowerPoint import and export. On the Pro card, the features fall into three groups:
- AI content: unlimited generation, extra context from files or links, AI image generation, an AI writing assistant and AI language translation.
- Design: Smart Slide auto-design, auto-formatting, image and icon libraries, slide transition animations, dynamic data visualizations, and embedded video and audio.
- Branding: custom brand styling and a custom theme builder where you set colors and fonts.
Teams adds real-time collaborative editing, a centralized slide and template library, version control, locked slides, a shared asset library, live data linking to charts and tables, and viewer and slide analytics with engagement alerts. That's the part that matters if several people touch the same deck.
Beautiful.ai's homepage calls it AI presentation software for teams, and the pricing page backs that up. Pro is described as for individuals who need to create professional presentations, while the Teams card is for collaborators working on brand-aligned decks with shared asset libraries, custom branded themes and engagement tracking. If you're a team of one, Pro is the card to read.

Want AI doing the heavy lifting in your marketing?
I build the systems that handle the boring 80 percent, so you get your week back. Done properly, with the human kept in.
Who should try Beautiful.ai, and who shouldn't
Try it if you:
- Build decks every week and want slides that lay themselves out.
- Work in a small team that wants shared libraries, locked slides and version control.
- Move between tools, since PowerPoint import and export are included on every seat.
Pass on it if you:
- Need a free plan you can stay on.
- Need a clear per-seat figure for a bigger team without checking the live page.
My verdict on Beautiful.ai
I'd start the 14-day trial if you make decks often and spend too long lining things up, because auto-designed layouts are the whole point of Beautiful.ai and two weeks is enough to tell if they suit how you work. For one person, Pro at 14.50 dollars a month billed annually is easy to understand. For a team, I wouldn't sign anything until the seat maths is confirmed on the live page. I'd skip it if you need a free plan you can stay on.
