AI Consultant in Sydney: AI Automation for Sydney Businesses

An AI consultant in Sydney helps NSW businesses turn AI from a novelty into a working part of the business: instant enquiry replies, automated admin, and marketing that keeps running without constant attention. The work is remote, so location and time of day are not an issue. You pick the job wasting the most time, prove AI can do it, then build out from there.

TL;DR

I am a UK based AI consultant who works with Sydney businesses remotely, building the automations that save time and grow the business. Here is the market and how I work.

The Sydney market

Sydney is Australia largest business centre: finance and banking, a strong tech and startup scene, media, property and professional services. That mix means a lot of process and client contact, which is where AI automation pays off.

The Sydney sectors I help most

Finance and professional services, tech and startups, media and property. Wherever there is repeatable admin and follow up, there are hours to reclaim.

Remote and senior

The build is remote and largely asynchronous, so the timezone works in your favour, and you get senior help without a Sydney retainer.

What I build for Sydney businesses

Automated lead and client follow up, proposals and emails in your voice, onboarding and reporting that run themselves.

Most of this work is what I describe on the AI automation consultant page, and if you need the plan before the build, the AI strategy consultant page explains how that runs.

A 90-day AI plan for a Sydney business

Sydney is Australia’s most competitive business market, and the businesses that win are the ones that respond fastest and waste the least time on process. The first 90 days are built around that.

Weeks 1 to 2: measure the process load. For finance and professional services firms in the CBD and North Sydney that means client onboarding, compliance documentation and reporting. For property businesses it is listing copy, enquiry follow-up and vendor reports. For media and tech companies around Surry Hills it is content production and pipeline admin. I count the repeatable hours before proposing a build.

Weeks 3 to 8: ship the automations with the fastest payback. Sydney-shaped examples: an assistant that turns a client meeting into a compliant first draft of the advice document, a property enquiry workflow that replies with the right information within minutes, and a content engine that keeps a media brand publishing without adding headcount.

Weeks 9 to 12: make it permanent. Documented workflows, a trained team, and a monthly review so the automations keep pace as the business grows. The work is remote and asynchronous, so a Sydney company gets senior implementation help without a Martin Place retainer, and the timezone gap means work lands overnight, ready for review each morning.

What Sydney businesses are automating first

Professional services firms in Sydney, the accountants, lawyers and consultancies, usually start with document handling. I set up a system that reads incoming client emails and contracts, pulls out the key dates and obligations, and drops them straight into the practice management tool. It replaces someone manually re-keying details from PDFs, and the owner gets back a few hours a week plus fewer missed deadlines. Property and real estate agencies often follow a similar path with listing enquiries. An AI tool drafts the first reply to a buyer or tenant question, checks it against the listing details, and flags anything that needs a human before it goes out. It replaces the late evening scramble to answer every enquiry personally, and the agent gets faster response times without sitting on their phone all night.

Ecommerce and retail businesses tend to automate product descriptions and customer service first. I build a workflow that takes basic product data and generates draft listing copy and FAQ answers, which a staff member then checks and publishes. It replaces the slow manual write up for every new item, and the owner gets stock online faster with less copywriting drag. Hospitality operators, cafes, small hotels, restaurants, usually start with bookings and reviews. An automated system handles routine reservation questions and drafts responses to online reviews for approval, which replaces the owner checking three different platforms throughout the day, and gives them back time on the floor instead of on a screen.

Financial services firms, brokers, advisers, bookkeepers, often begin with client onboarding. I set up a process that extracts data from forms and identity documents, checks it against compliance requirements, and prepares a summary for the adviser to review. It replaces manual data entry and cross checking across spreadsheets, and the owner gets a cleaner audit trail with far less admin time per client.

I scope all of this the same way wherever the business is based, over video calls and shared documents, starting with one process that is causing the most friction right now. The first project is usually a two to four week build around that single task, so we can see results before deciding what comes next.

Frequently asked questions

Sydney rates are the highest in Australia. I price on the build, not the postcode. Book a call for an honest number.

Are you based in Sydney?

No, I am UK based and work with Sydney clients remotely. The build is remote, which keeps it fast and affordable.

What kind of Sydney businesses do you work with?

Mostly finance, tech, media and professional services businesses, teams who want AI built into how they work.
